    Sounds good, Black and picks to us.

    Then trade Ayton out. If Indy is interested the Turner/Walker duo probably gives us the best players. New Orleans might get us the best draft assets from sending Ingram elsewhere.

    It seems like July 1 has changed from signing free agents, 90% of players all sign extensions these days. Not a lot of free agents - especially at the star level.

    But it's now become more of a crazy trade merry-go-round where probably more guys switch teams than what used to happen. Now it's trades instead of free agents.

    I was there, best team of all time by far. Crowd went nuts when Drexler went in.

    I heard LeBron opted out. Laker fans are 100% certain the King will re-sign

    they're going nuts in Laker land.
    fans want Anfernee Simons, DeRozen, and Nic Richards once LeBron accepts minimum contract.

    oh sure he could. I could see him starting on Orlando or Phili to name two rumored suitors with cap space that have a starting SG spot available and a real need for a shooter.

    If LeBron signs for the vet min it doesn't help the Lakers get a difference maker. With LeBron, Knecht, and a rookie min contract they're at 13 roster spots and over 133M in salary which is only 7M under the cap. Just doesn't do what it would take to go out and get Ant, DeRozan or Claxton on his reported new salary in a S&T.

    Therefore I very highly doubt that LeBron signs for anything but the max, maybe just a two or three year max.

    I think he's far more likely to go to Philly. That's where I would go if I were going to leave the Clippers. I think ultimately he'll stay with the Clippers... maybe he's at a very different stage in his life but it was a big deal for him to live in Southern California where he's from. So there's that draw.

    So i was all ready to get on that "Around the NBA July edition" thread but it seems @SlyPokerDog is too busy? Maybe @Chris Craig can step up? I figure @Strenuus is probably still watching a baseball game.
    @PtldPlatypus might get this going?
    Is there a mod I'm missing?

    Okay lets get @THE HCP involved here?

    It's been the most depressing 2 week stretch of baseball as a Mariners fan in quite some time. Which is saying something., because... well... mariners.
