Chet is almost two full years older than Scoot.

I still think point guard is better infinitely harder to play than power forward. Especially for a dude who is 7’5 or 7’1.

calling a player a miss thru 5 games and guy is injured might be a really stupid take?

and i'm not calling you stupid, I'm just asking the question about whether it's a really stupid take. so i'm absolved.

    No.
Very well documented that Bigs take three to four years to get their game in order.
Footwork, Fouls, positioning as well as ball handling shooting and outlet passes.
Not saying PG is easy but it’s not what 7 footers need to learn.

Lakers Always interested, always want to win Yadda Yadda Yadda

Hope that LeBron championship is the last one they win in the next 15 years. I’d actually love to see the Lakers suck.

you implied that not drafting ausar was a miss—or that drafting scoot was a miss...

(full disclosure—I was team thompson twins throughout the draft process but it's crazy early to litigate scoot's nba success in the league like that, lol)

Yeah, hopefully the Bulls don't give them a freebie trade. Too many teams keep saving the Lakers by taking basically nothing back in trades.

No implications just a question. Did they miss a good one? Scoot can still be good. My question is more about losing Dame as well as not making that choice.
In the end what’s done is done. I never wanted to tank let alone choose a guy to replace Dame.
IMHO losing is losing. Tanking breads a losing culture. This is the teams third year tanking and they are worse now than they have been for decades. Maybe they can get the number one pick this year?

A Thursday night where both the Warriors and Heat lose would just be lovely.

Klay Thompson is COOKED. He shot 1-10 tonight. Are the Warriors just gonna let him walk?

I thought his game would age gracefully since he didn’t rely on athleticism and knew how to move without the ball. But he can’t create any separation to get off shots anymore.

Dude blew his ACL in one leg and then right when he was done rehabbing that blew his achilles in the other. He was 29 when he sustained the first injury and 31 when he played his next game. I don't think most ball players come back from something like that. I realize that KD came back from his achilles but he wasn't coming off of an ACL. I also realize he played a season and a half since then and was an important part of a title team but he wasn't moving like he once did, so it's not a shock that his movement has continued to degrade.

The Warriors don't need elite level shooting from Klay. However, they DO need elite level defense from him. I have no idea, but I've heard others think is defense has degraded severely. If so, Dubs in serious trouble.

I might be wrong on this but something tells me the defensive numbers being as good as they are, is at least partially because the offense is just so very bad. Teams don't have to score much more than 100 points to beat the Blazers. How many times have we missed being able to buy our free McNuggets.
