    Because he hasn't lead his team to a winning record. And.... I believe a player must pay their dues when it matters to obtain that consideration.

    What a way to kick off the season. The Mavs showed how much work they need to do in order to be ready to compete during the playoffs. Returning their players really helped the Spurs. One would expect similar results for the Blazers since they had the second best player retainment. Perhaps the importance of this has gone overlooked.

    Spurs Mavs game was a great game. Down to the wire! Mavs are underrated this season.
