I wish I could be more happy for him, but he should still be a Blazer.

Even Stotts seemed to have trusted Wenyen more than he now trusts Giles.

If a Blazers player did that, our game thread would've been on FIRE.

and many thought he was a crazy pick because the back. Young people, especially athletes are pretty resilient and he sure is proving it.

in April, Nuggets are 9-2 without Murray

    a) showing either that the Nuggets GM is much better at building a roster than Portland's GM

    or

    b) the value of undersized SG's with average efficiency and below average defense is not nearly as great as assumed

    or

    c) Gordon was a much better addition for Denver than Powell has been for Portland

    all of the above

Porter is averaging 1! assist per game. I can only imagine the calls of blackhole! if he were on our team. But, he's not, so, superstar!

The kid was better player came out that draft team ahead of Denver didn't want to take that chance understandable. Denver roll the dice and won out. Hopefully Nas will work for us due he was supposed be in the top 10 and drop to us.

Murray isn’t that good. It is Jokic’s team. That’s why they’re still winning. Also- Powell is better than Gordon.

Powell is better if use correct way and say that with Jones. There just using Nurk but the players that's getting him involved is not our guards.

Yeah if Portland had taken a guy (a bigger man no less) with back problems it would have gone over really well in here

Your only saying Powell is better than Gordon because Powell is on the Blazers team. I'm sure it would be the other way around if Gordon was a Blazers.

Murray was their starting pg so he is not undersized for that. He also doesn't have average efficiency and he is not below average defender.

I think Powell is better player than Gordon, but not a better addition if we check what each team needed.

    Probably a.

according to bbref, he's only played half of his minutes at PG this season, and that's with the offense being run thru Jokic, not Murray. I think Murray is mostly similar in role to CJ, not Dame the PG, in that he's not the primary initiator of offense

His career TS% is .557 which is about average efficiency (although he was much higher this season). The median TS% is .573 and the average is about .563. The median eFG% is .538 and he's at .513. If he's abover average in efficiency it isn't by much. As far as his defense, he's 2 points worse that his team in defensive rating ans is a minus defender in DBPM

which is pretty much what I said. I think Gordon would have fit better in Portland as well because I'm not sure how the Blazers can weave 4 guards, 6'3 & under, into an effective rotation, even by calling one of them a SF

Powell only makes sense, IMO, if he's re-signed and CJ is traded. Assuming Powell signs for 18-20M, I do not see any way the Blazers can afford to pay 100M year for three ball-dominant players under 6'4 no matter how much they want to pretend Powell is a SF

that might be academic anyhow because it seems more and more unlikely Powell will want to return to Portland after what has happened since he arrived

maybe, but he also has an 80% assisted FG rate so he pretty obviously doesn't hold the ball very long

that is a low assist number though for a starter; Gary Trent averaged 1.4 and was considered a black hole at times

Will you hate him when he slumps? Because he will.

Or does he never slump because he's not a Blazer?

    Pick a lane.
