    Also overrated: Timberwolves and Wizards.
    Underrated: GRIZZLIES, Mavericks.

This surprises me - I thought he was a nice surprise for them last year:

You / they might be right, I’m not ruling that out of the realm of possibilities. Heck they could be worse than that. The good news for you is summer starts early!
I think Dame is good enough to keep the Blazers afloat and in contention for the playoffs. So much of all this is determined by health, Minnesota for instance was 3rd in the west until Butler got hurt. We all know how razor thin the margin for error is out west.
The Blazers have question marks but so does basically all the others teams outside of GS. Even Houston underwent a pretty big shift in roster. The forwards are going to be different and Carmelo’s recent past doesn’t seem to look good...
Let’s assume you’re right though, the Blazers, “luck” runs out this year they miss the playoffs. What would do to rectify that?

A 20 year old 6'5" point guard who's decent on the defensive end? If we didn't already have a plethora of guards, I'd say the Blazers should pick him up.

The last time ESPN actually predicted the Blazers would make the playoffs was 2014-15, the year after they won 54 games and beat HOU in the first round. Historically, the "homers" in this forum have been much more accurate than the "experts" at ESPN.

Well, they gotta make it interesting SOMEHOW. How far we've fallen, that the most exciting/interesting aspect of the game will be what color shoe each player wears from game to game. Literally the only element of surprise left in the NBA.

Yes. I am on the edge of my seat to see what color shoes Ish Smith is going to wear on opening night!

I just did a count and I’m coming up with a plethora and a half, which is actually equivalent to a cornucopia.

Would you mind converting that into "myriad"? No conversion table on hand because I left my pee-chee folders at home.

I'll say this for him - he's more skilled at basketball than he is at being a decent human.

Oh, sure. No problem. 1 myriad = (cornucopia x gobs)/1 multitude.
