Crazy to me to realize that with all the hype Banchero has (justifiably) received, and all the praise for Franz Wagner, Bol Bol has actually been the Magic's best player this year.

    Their frontcourt is stacked.

i just caught his post game comments about his team not being "scrappy." no joke.

dude hasn't changed in 20 yrs. so glad he's not our problem anymore. How he continually gets coaching jobs after being so mediocre is beyond me.

With all their top picks, plus freebies in Bol Bol (projected top pick) and Fultz Fultz, they're like the up-and-coming rehabilitation retirement home of the NBA, Florida style.

They gave up 50 points in the 1st quarter to the Magic yesterday. That’s an effort issue. Trae Young is streaky as hell and can’t guard a chair.

They were in the ECF a couple years ago. But, outside Capela they’re completely inept on defense and John Collins has regressed quite a bit.

It’s Luka and I guess maybe Christian Wood and everybody else on that team is just average. They’re more undersized than us.

Dinwiddie is pretty good. His issue in Brooklyn was injuries, not talent.
Hardaway Jr is also pretty good. Those two with Luka and Wood provide a lot of fire power at home.

I like Dinwiddie a lot. now that he's hitting 3's consistently, I honestly think he may be better than Ant.

    Is he though? I know PER isn't a be-all-end-all, but when a player's career-high after 9 years is 10.1, I think that says a lot.

might want to check your numbers. Here's what I see for Hardaway:

    still not good though

I think Luka is somewhat similar to LBJ in that they dominate the ball and they need to be surrounded by 3-point shooters.
Hardaway seems to fit that criteria. In December he is shooting 45.6 % from deep and he is shooting a lot of them. (sometimes 13-14 a night ) And I don't think he is a bad defender. So I would consider him above average.

He had a bad game against the Cavs last night which does not make me feel very comfortable.

If Lillard keeps his current pace up he will be right up there with him soon.

I would SO love to have this be our starting center. I believe his game would complement our backcourt.

I’ve said it before, I don’t want Dame at this point in his career to have to put up numbers like that. I’m cool with him only having to score 21 a game.

The thing is he is doing the scoring from distance. I don’t see the punishment as much this year. Seems to be pacing himself pretty well. Letting Simons play a bit. I noticed he’s giving Sharp some opportunities as well. He has Grant available also. Seems like his numbers are coming a bit easier this year?
