The basically Bookerless Suns hanging in with the Nuggets that we weren't really hanging with.

Personally I think we need to make a big trade or trades to be in the mix in the West,

What big trades are realistic, would make us significantly better, and another team would agree to?

Not if they’re in the lottery. Where was the switch in 2021?

I always think this is a ridiculous question. I would trade anyone but Dame and Shae, including changing the conditions on the pick we owe the Bulls. So what trades are there? The permutations are almost endless. We need to balance the roster with more size. I don't really think that Dame and Ant work better than Dame and CJ. I don't think that Nurk is even close to an ideal fit in Chauncey's system. So let your imagination go wild.

The Lakers lost by 21 tonight to the Mavs. I realize that their roster isn't complete due to injuries but neither is ours and just a few days earlier we only lost to the Lakers by 10. This obviously makes us better than the Mavs and when looking at power rankings only makes us a little worse than the Lakers.

Hasn’t resulted in wins??? He went to NBA Finals in 2012. His Rockets went 65-17 in 2017-18 and made it to Game 7 of the WCF. His current team is 20-12. That’s only one game behind the Nuggets. If he played for us instead of Simons, we’d have more wins.

[QUOTE="blazerfan11, post: 5461275, member: 29810" The team with the very worst road record in the NBA (3-16) that wouldn't even be in the play-in if the season ended today?[/QUOTE]
Cmon bro. That is still Curry, Thompson, Green, Moody, Poole with Kerr as a coach. You just watched them turn it on without Curry on the court because they felt slighted by Ja.
They will make the playoffs; they will make it through the first round. Somebody is going to have to knock them off that mountain. Simple as that.
I agree this might be that year but until that happens, they are the champions.

I don't think it works money wise nor does it make us significantly better. However, I do think the GSW would do it!

I agree with your desire to improve the roster. The reason I asked the question is because I think the suggestion of "making a big trade" is equally as ridiculous as asking what realistic trade ideas are out there. It's not to crap on you or anyone else that wants the roster to get better, but a thought exercise to realize just how difficult it would be to even think of a trade that both teams would do, where significant players are exchanged, using the current Blazer roster/contracts/injury situation.
