True. They would probably rather have Beal, but then playing against Simmons 4+ times a year might be regretful.

So they want to get jack shit for him like the Rockets did for Harden. Blazers can accommodate that.

This one doesn't even make any sense. They had the number one record in the East last season, so they aren't looking to do what the Rockets did. I think if they really did float an offer to San Antonio for a young player and picks that's just Morey communicating to the rest of the league that they will take picks to sweeten the deal. They almost have to want someone that is going to come in and improve the team right away.

A broken down John Wall? Melo had a better career....will they take him?

I wouldn’t consider controlling 7 first round picks “jack shit.”

Nor would I use that to describe Jarrett Allen or Caris Levert.

So you want to give up 2 decent rotational pieces (let’s say, Covington and Simons or little) plus 3 first rounders and 4 first round swaps for Simmons?

If you accommodate that you’re insane

    Mostly late 1sts

Houston didn't get LavVert or Allen...They got a broken Oladipo who is gone now and Rodions Kurucs

The picks may be excessive, but Allen, Kurucs, and Lavert for Harden is worth it

They're shopping Ingles right now and Mitchell is said to want to be traded....that's a good haul for Philly and put Simmons next to Gobert and you'd have the best front court defense in the league

That was going around right after their season ended...I don't think he and Gobert like each other much after the covid incident...they may have fixed it but haven't heard much since...I also think Utah is part of the problem for Mitchell....Philly would be more fun for his lifestyle probably

There's no chance in hell he's worth Ingles and Mitchell.

Kuzma, Harrell and 22 for Buddy Hield seems imminent.
