I can't help but think the league will eventually figure out how to defend Doncic. He moves at such a leisurely pace, he shouldn't be getting shots off that clean, but he always seems to be wide open.

See what's amazing to me about his game is that he DOES play at such a leisurely pace. He is killing teams playing in almost slow motion. It's crazy!!!! He's not this crazy ass athlete out there dominating others with his speed and athletic ability. I love his game.

Now set me straight. This was BAD when Russ did it, is it GOOD when the Caucasian Sensation did it?

Yeah, I'm definitely not saying it's a bad thing. Guys like Paul George and Chris Mullin play/played at a similar pace with great success. They weren't primary ball handlers, though. It just seems like guys are playing Doncic wrong, maybe respecting the pass too much, and will eventually force him to change it up.

It could just be a match-up issue, with wings not being accustomed to bodying up on someone with that style. I haven't watched enough of Doncic to know, but I haven't seen him be much of a blow-by threat that would warrant playing off him.

Crazy thing is he can come off a screen and drill that 3, as soon as the opponent sees this and start hopping out on him, he just hesitates a half second, and drops that dime to Porzingis. And his post game is solid. I just think people don't realize how big he is. I wonder what his actual measurements are when they all came out.

This Celtics/Clips game feels like it's being played in 1997!

Because Russell did it with poor shooting and decision making that cost his team wins when it mattered.

And he chased rebounds much more than Luka does.

Media and Philly going crazy because Simmons hit his first 3 of his career. Fucking pathetic if you ask me. Guy is a terrible shooter. He should be ashamed that a big deal was made but he is saying his "hard work payed off". SM-MFin-H.

Nah, LeBron has outquicked/outpowered his opponents his whole career. Add the fact how smart he is on the court, probably why he is arguably the best player to ever play. Doncic is different.

In those 10 games he did that? I wish we had players that would chase rebounds down the way Russ does.

The fact that he CAN'T shoot 3s, makes what he does out on the court even THAT much more impressive. Why are you so mad about it?

Watching the Clippers vs Celtics on how both teams plays defense compare to our Blazers is like night and day.

Clippers closer: Leonard, PG and Williams is just crazy.
