The league is trying to show that they're cracking down on things...but only the younger players trying to make a name for themselves or washed up has-beens will get dinged.

Underachieving teams who might shake things up:

Outside of us, Orlando/Chicago/Indiana/Sacramento are just jumping out to me. Think UTA regresses to the mean soon enough.

Orlando is just playing like absolute garbage, and they have quite a clutter at the Forward/Big positions. Their offense as a whole could use a boost-- near the worst in the league in almost every offensive category. Gordon especially is in a massive slump. Wonder if they'd get antsy and make a move.

I heard a rumor (national sports talk show, I forget which one) that there is a huge HGH problem in all sports right now but particularly the NBA because their drug policies are so lenient. The drugs have gotten so good that they're basically undectable unless you mess up dosage or do something dumb like Ayton and take a diuretic because you freak out and worry you're going to get caught.

I have no idea if that's true but it makes sense for the NBA to crack down on it.

Doesn't surprise me. DRose a while back mentioned that PED use in the NBA usage is rampant and far more prevalent than people think.

Is Morant asking him about his historic 8-largest-minus-in-history in the blowout loss to Miami? Or is he just thinking about it while Russ witters on?

Everyone's thinking Gordon-for-CJ, but much as CJ is underperforming, at least he's proven he can do SOMETHING in the league. What does Aaron Gordon do well besides jump?

If it turns out that Jokic is using them I shall seriously wonder what the "E" stands for.

Whoa, I agree with you about something! If you take away the dunk contest Aaron Gordon is not a good basketball player.

It's actually a good argument. He simply plays a position where we are severely lacking, and would be a good P&R threat with Dame. I actually think he fits in really well with Nurk as well. It's all hypothetical though. He's been the definition of average his whole career.

No I think he's jealous they are playing better than us.

Didnt you kind of move the goal posts too...? He said he was jealous of the Lakers winning (Right now), so you brought up the last 6 seasons...

I mean I sort of agree with you, but he’s obviously looking for some instant gratification and some wins now. Im sure the Blazers will give him some.

Could you imagine this place if Dame got THREE TRIPLE DOUBLES IN A ROW?!?!?

Evan Turner got 2 in a row. We still wanted him gone.

That washed up old guy in LA just got his 3rd straight and nobody is acknowledging it. Guess I will. On a suds note, LeBron is averaging a career high 11.2 dimes a night. Still early, but that is impressive.

The Clippers play back-to-back games on national TV both tonight and tomorrow night so they shouldn't be getting heat for this in my opinion.
