    HELL YA I'M SURPRISED! How many times YEAR after YEAR do we hear about how so in so player is the next so in so HOF player and then hav NOT pan out YEAR after YEAR? When a 20 year old kid comes in and does what he's doing.....shit! Scouts and draft "experts" didn't even expect this so fast.

    Maybe not this fast, but I remember them saying that he had the best-looking advanced stats of anyone entering the NBA since Anthony Davis. How Vlade Divac still has a job is beyond me.

    But you hear what I'm saying right? You could go back EVERY draft and their are 5 guys that are sure fire All Star picks. So when a guy actually performs like they say and THEN some, hell ya I'm surprised. Love this kids game, just didn't think he'd be at this level EVER, let alone 13 months into his career.

    Fez toldja. (Of course, Fez told us about a lot of people, and some of them are long forgotten.)

    I've got to say that Doncic's success really sticks in my craw. The fact that Dallas got him is such a bummer: he was RIGHT THERE FOR THE TAKING. They didn't even have to give up that much. And Phoenix, Sacramento and Atlanta have been DYING for a generational talent and they blew it. Now we have to suffer Mark Cuban on our screens just that much more.

    Chicken and the egg? Would Doncic be as good this soon if not for the environment Dallas has built the past 20 years? Would he be like all the other flame-outs in Phoenix, Sacramento, and Atlanta, or was he going to be good no matter what?
