    Cleveland were pretty much a shitshow when LeBron dropped in their lap. Bulls with Jordan were if anything worse. Obviously Doncic doesn't have the physical gifts but he has the brain and the incredible drive.

    Always remember that even if the GM is smart, s/he isn't always the one making the decisions. And not all GMs are smart.

    Perfectly valid logic. Two different players/teams -- possibly the two greatest players ever -- blazed their own paths, so that makes Doncic a can't miss instant all-star no matter what team he went to, despite all the counter-examples. Got it.
