CP is still very good, but age will catch up to him sooner rather than later. I get the addition, but sure doesnt seem to fit the timeframe of Booker, Ayton, Bridges etc

haha Mario knows he can’t get more than that in the open market. This assures this will likely be his last year in the NBA. Then moves overseas for good where he belongs

Maybe we trade Dame for Booker. That addresses your concern! JK

Wonder how that backcourt will work.....Booker loves having the ball in his hands.

    Chris Paul
    Devin Booker
    Mikal Bridges

OKC was better than us last season and they are liquidating! Kind of messes with my eternal optimism...

We haven't even hit the draft or FA yet, and 2 WC lotto teams (Suns and GSW) are looking like play-off teams. OKC figures to drop, but that still means that somebody else gets bumped. If Memphis continues to improve, this could get ugly for the Blazers.

Golden State was going to look better because they got healthy, it had nothing to do with the draft, or free agency or trades.

But also remember that OKC is getting worse, and potentially Houston is trading Harden and Westbrook to EC teams. That's 2 playoff teams that are worse off.

And Portland wasn't healthy until the bubble, so that does play a part too. And Hood returning helps as does Ariza (assuming he is kept).
