Holiday is nice but the Bucks gave up too much to get him

Not if they resign the Greek Freak. In that case, it was well worth it.

I was responding to a post that questioned the Bucks 3 firsts for Jrue Holiday

Wall for Russ? 2 players making $40 million and there might be one good knee between the both of them.

I wasn't dissing the trade for Covington

all I was doing was comparing what Portland paid for Covington in draft picks, to what Milwaukee traded for Holiday in picks.

I just don't know if anyone can have a better starting five than a team with role players around LeBron and AD.

to New Orleans, so, they very likely gave up nothing. Unless Giannis leaves, the Bucks will be picking in the 28-30 range for a long time

That's acting like Giannis is a lock to stay now, they might win a title and Giannis still might leave for a better city, better fit for him or perceived better options economically.

He was a lock to stay, even before the trade, as long as they did anything. He wants to stay.

While the general idea is fun, what if team 7 has like a 9 game lead, and 8,9,10 are all trash. Seems a little unfair. I feel there should be a within X amount of games rule to trigger the play in.

Then team 7 should either catch team 6 or be prepared to beat a much inferior team to get in.

How does Dallas improve on already the league's best offense? Not sure why they need Gallo

Yeag exactly. Teams like that need a guy who plays defense and can sit in the corner and spot 3’s. Gallo needs the ball in his hands somewhat to be effective.
