I go back and forth on this topic. I agree there is no way these guys could handle a 3/4 court press. But then neither can most PG's. They will probably see it more in summer league from free agents trying to stand out, than in the regular season where most players don't want to exert that much energy on D until the end of games. I thought Phoenix was the exception last year and it created problems for us. This is why I prefer to have 3 ball handlers on the court at all times. Even if it means playing small ball. We need two other guys besides the PG who can help out and attack the rim. Or at the very least one other player. I am all for playing two PGs at once. It will be interesting to see if Crabbe can help out Will and CJ next week when they all play together.
He's in his 5th season after being selected #11 before he was able to contribute anywhere. Maybe giving Meyers a 4th year isn't so idiotic.
