Ron Garretson must think Sheed is still on our squad, he had some horrible calls. Remember when he called Sheed a wacko and T'ed him up?

I think the refs made sure Greg is going to be nice and rested for a meaningless exhibition. Good job guys! Well done!!:cheers:

So you are saying stop doing what your strength is and play the way your opponent wants you to. GS rarely posts anyone up. They Killed Boston , Utah, Phoenix the same way. Nate did a great job of slowing it down in the second half. That is the way you beat GS in their building. You post them up and bang on them. But the refs did not allow it. They also did not allow any of our players to attack the basket but Brandon. Our Allstar got to the line. But how many times did Bayless, Travis, Rudy and Sergio drive to the basket and got no call. How many times did GS go to the hole and did get the call. this was not about adapting. this was about getting homered.

The refs sucked donkey balls, but it doesn't change the essential point.

Early in the season, the team had some gutty road performances. Now, we have regressed to being a weak road team. IMHO, this is an area where lack of experience is really taking a toll. At this point, even getting Blake back would help!

Way to prove that you are a blind Nash-basher. He gets a tech standing up for his team, and yet he is still called out for it.

We went inside to GO a lot tonight, just like everyone asked. We greatly reduced the amount of times we switched screens, just like everyone asked. Nate made the adjustments, and we got plenty of good looks, however, the players didn't finish.

We got screwed on some foul calls, but our bigs took some fouls that were silly. Just give them the layup every once and a while GO, because you have the ability to force double teams on every offensive possession.

Overall I am so happy with this team. We are 12 games over .500 at the all-star break, sitting alone in 4th place, and we still have lots of room to grow. This is a fun team, rich in talent, and is easy to root for. Tonight the players didn't show up, but that is going to happen over the course of a 82 game season. Here's too a great stretch run!

Why, iPhone of course :) Was in Section 110 with Blazer fans to my left and rear. The two on my left were pretty rowdy but the four on my rear wear all in Blazers' jersey but didn't make a peep all night long, which I couldn't understand given the bullshit calls.

Trust me, I tried to tell them - but all that got me were a lot of evil glares and popcorn tossed on my head from the people behind me. I figured we'd lose this game from the get-go - but I thought it'd be more from the W's style of play and not from the refs handing them a W on a silver platter!!!

LOL you bitches!!! I passed up the halftime bathroom/food run to get closer to the Blazers' shoot around and this is what I get??? Fucking Oracle bouncers were hella retarded and wouldn't let us any closer to the court so I had to yell out as loud as I could just to get JB's attention. I guess I must have sounded like a little high pitched bitch - because it got him to turn around after one of his practice threes. Totally hilarious because as soon as he saw that it was me and my (male) cousin and not some hot ass chick, he just gave us that "whatever dude" nod and went back to target practice. Funny as hell though.

Rudy came by that corner next and stood there for multiple threes - I kept yelling out "Rudy!!! Rudy!!! Rudy!!!" but homeboy must not understand English because he didn't so much as peek over his shoulder even once!!! Sergio needs to share his Rosetta Stone software with his countryman!!! WTF!!!

Oh . . . and to follow up on this craptastic loss, we tried to get behind Mike and Mike and Rebecca but the bitches @ Oracle wouldn't have any of it - so I had to chant "Mike and Mike . . . and Rebecca!!!" from a ways back. Haarlow did look back and I snapped a pic of her looking up to see who her stalkers were :) will post those photos tomorrow when I'm more sober.

The super obnoxious GSW fans were all happy about this win so I had to leave them with a "We'll see you in the playoffs" taunt . . . followed by a "oh shit, nevermind, make that - I'll see you in the late lottery" chant. They weren't too please with that but luckily had run out of popcorn to throw at me.

We finished the night waiting by the Blazer team bus where I caught Shavlik, JB and Antonio Harvey on the main bus - whereas LMA, GO, Nate and KP all hopped on the smaller bus. Nate was on his cell the whole time - probably talking to his wife about how his defensive scheme is really coming together nicely. Oden had his headphones on and looked like he just wanted to be left alone. KP and Roy both ran straight into the small bus, somewhat smiling - like they were ready for the All-Star Weekend to begin already.

I just got the feeling these guys didn't really care too much about this game and loss - and most of them just needed a longish weekend off this weekend.

Who knows, maybe it was my Northern CA accent that was throwing him off. I'm just glad he made his 3 pointers in the second half to extend his streak . . . one whole point in the first half wasn't cutting it.

Nice job representing Blazer fans, yenniedn. Why do LMA, Greg, Nate and KP get to ride the short bus for? I bet Jerryd was happy to see you guys again in the parking lot. haha

I have no friggin clue since the big bus was about 2/3rds empty. PA's just got too much money to blow I guess. Nate, KP, LMA, Roy and Oden were all on the short bus - must be the VIP, Happy Ending Bus!!! Shavlik, JB and some random dude (HCP??? J/K) were on the big bus by themselves. Oh well, gas is cheap(er) these days so they can splurge???

he played 14 minutes tonight and plays less than 18 per game on the season. he was not and is not the main problem.

batum is fine. if they get an upgrade at sf and all of batum's minutes disappear, that isn't a problem(as long as the new sf can play defense) but getting batum 15 minutes a night isn't hurting the team. it would be a lot better though if he could get back to knocking down wide open 3s at 40% like he was earlier in the year.
