Heat beat the Hornets, they just keep sliding.

Blazers are holding on, just a few minutes left.

Wiz have a one point lead over NY mid way through the first OT

The bucks lost tonight, putting the Cavs only 4 games out of the 5th spot. Maybe it's just blind optimisim, but i think it's very possible the Cavs could capture the 5th spot. With 2 head-2-head games left with Milwaukee and the Cavs on a roll, i think it is very possible that we

It seems pretty certain that McInnis injury is what stopped our run. Ollie had serious troubles replacing J- Mac and DaJuan Wagner looked terrible with the ball against Detroit. LeBron, as good as he is turns the ball over quite a bit as a pg. We needed Jeff!

jeff's absence could not have come at a worse time, but fortunately, the rest of the teams in the race are somewhat cooperating with us in struggling lately. Boston is the exception to this, but they lost tonight against portland. cavs need to get it rollin again quickly if we are going to get in.

A win by Portland over Philli holds the Sixers at bay. Now for Boston to slump big time. Denver now is up against it to qualify. So much for LeBron and Carmelo leading there teams to the promise land as teenagers. Whats the NBA coming to when teams 19 year old rooks cant lead there teams deep into the playoffs.

If we're going to catch anyone I think it's the Knicks. Unfortunatly there schedule doesn't look to scary so the chances are slim. But if they would fall into a slump and we get a healthy McInnis back, the last game at the Garden(april 14th) might be a classic. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Relax guys, it's not over yet. We still have Milwaukee twice, Miami twice, NY & Toronto once. We still hold our own destiny. But we really need to take care of business in the beer city tonight.

PLAYOFF HOPES for Lebron & Cavs GONE.....=(

With Cavs lost to the Warriors and Knicks' win over the Phillys today...I'm afraid cavs making the playoffs this year is as of today..HISTORY. The only way for the cavs to MAKE THE PLAYOFFS is to win everysingle game left and knicks losing almost everysingle game (or something like that) - which is NOT going to happen. I was really rooting for the cavs this year but with Jeff M. going down (in the worst time of the season to "go down"), Cavs are near their end of the cliff. All I can say is....Better Luck Next Season!

It could still happen. NY could lose and Cavs could win right?

Weren't the Cavs the #6 seed in the East a few weeks/days ago? Amazing.

This team being in the playoff hunt this late in the season is something to be proud of. This franchise is finally headed in the right direction. If they can hold on to Ilgaskus and build the team around Lebron and Boozer, anything is possible in the East next year.

I didn't expect the Cavs to be this good in the 1st place. I knew we would have improved but I didn't think we would get this close to the playoffs. Of course im terrible hurt that we didn't make it, but look at the bright side.

    1. This is just the beginning of the LBJ era.
    2. Boozer completely came out of his shell and WILL be an All-Star.
    3. Zydrunas proved to everyone that he is still big time.
    4. Basketball is finally back in Cleveland and will be for a long time.

Yeah this season is done. But just like I said, Its only the beginning and I can't wait for the future.
