Back on topic. If we keep up little bursts of wins here and there then we will definatly make it.

I don't want just burst of wins i want liek a 7 or 8 game winning streak to put us in either the 6th 7th or 8th spot. This is the time to do it.

With Kedrick i love the guy! But he does need t odrive to the hole more.

Now will Kapono be in the rotation. I would even give him a chance at starting he can spread the floor and well maybe we found some1 that can do that. Go Cavs and grrrreat job on the 3 game winning streak so far now beat up a nother playoff team.

    Houston rouckets are goin

    down

You would have to think Silas will go with what is working! With Diop out, Williams will have to help Battie backing up our bigs. We dont want to overload Battie with his awful knees! So that is opening up more minutes at small forward for Newble, Kapono and Brown. You'd think Newble is playing himself out of the rotation, and that Brown could get a look! Brown does lack that aggressiveness in offense that he possesses in defense. There is nothing worse than a hesitant player with the ball. Ira may be shooting bad, but he doesn't ruin the system.

Back to the subject, we need to keep some momentum up. Its starts again against a strong defensive team in Houston. Z will have a tough night with Yao, as does Jeff and LeBron with Francis and Mobley! So we need some of our role players to step up. Booz could be set for another big one, while we should ride Kapono while he is confident. This is a winnable road game, but not life and death. Orlando is a must win. Cant afford to drop games to the weaker sides!

The only bugger about making the playoffs and Toronto missing out is that we have no 1st round draft picks!

I don't think we really need a first round pick. We have James who will be in his 2nd year, and Boozer who will be in his 3rd. We have a pretty young team, and these guy's are just going to get better. Regardless of the draft we are looking at a very good Cav's team next year.

Having no picks also frees up some cash for resigning players and signing free agents. Bobcats, please sign Newble or Ollie!

And doesn't Stephon Jackson look good!!!

If only we could get him at the right price to replace Williams when we let him walk!

Hope these results continue to fall into place!

Things are starting to look better and better for the Cav's. The Hawks are dominating Philly, and Toronto is also losing. If the Cav's continue to play well they could be looking at 6th or 7th place instead of 8th.

Didn't ever think that's something I would ever hear. Nets offically won that game. So that means another Toronto L :bigthumbu

The Knicks are playing at Sacramento tonight, so there's a good chance that they could go down, leaving us at only 2.5 out of 6th.

The Cavs need to get over the hump of the 3 game winning streak. This is the 3rd time this year we've won 3 and the first 2 we dropped the next one. If we can get a win against Houston tomorrow (they're playing tonight, so hopefully they are tired), the next 3 games are against Orlando, Atlanta, and Chicago.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but thats got all the making of a 7 game winning streak if we keep playing like we have been the last 3.

At this point it looks like the Celtics, Raps, and Sixers are in a heated race to the bottom of the standings, so things are looking good for us nabbing a playoff spot even if the Heat continue to play well.

With the Knicks seemingly coming back to earth after their deals, it looks like 6th is a legit goal for this team.

We're leading the season series against the Pistons this year too, so that would be a good first round matchup for us...

We don't need luck, we just need to keep playing good ball.

Raptors, Sixers, and Knicks all lost last night, so here is an update.

    6: New York, 26-32, 16.5, 3-0
    7: Toronto, 25-31, 16.5, 0-2
    8: Miami, 25-33, 17.5, 1-1
    9: Cleveland, 23-34, 19
    10: Philadelphia, 23-35, 19.5, 3-0
    11: Boston, 23-35, 19.5, 1-3

    Cavs are @ Houston
    Milwaukee is @ Boston
    Washington is @ Toronto
    New York is @ Phoenix

Big games today fellas, even if the Cavs lose, I don't really like these other teams chances of pulling one out either.

    A win here is HUGE.
