i think he has hate on nate...when nate pulled out spudd...he said "what the *****" and when nate finished that amazing dunk off spudd's bounce, kobe didn't really go crazy like most people, and instead told iguodala what dunk to do next

you have to add the fact that tyronne lue is wearing his warm up jersey is just terrorizing

thought josh smith was going to dunk over him and damon's pink suit at one point[IMG]

I don't think it is as much hate for Nate as it is love for Iguodala. Kobe and Iguodala are good friends, and train together in the offseason.

And whoever asked whether I'd be pissed if Washington won the NCAA Championship this year, here is my answer: Only if the referees screw the other team over in the final seconds.

I'm not hatin' on Nate at all...

Nate knows he was the sympathy winner tonight, but he'll take a lot of heat for this in the future, even though Rudy T and Kenny Smith should be the one's taking the heat.

    Co-sign.

Kenny was holding up a 9 for Iggy on the last dunk of the final round, then put up an 8 after seeing what the others had done. That sent it to the dunkoff, then Rudy T did his thing.

I hate how Magic always says the dunk contest is back, every friggin' year. It was back once they got rid of the wheel.

I agree with you 100 percent, the only peeps who supported Nate was the whole Knicks crew and Smith. Probably Warrick but Kobe had made hate, he didn't show love for the beneath the leg dunk which took him like 15 tries to do. That's just plain wrong.

It's understandable though... I mean, 15 tries? Please... that really hurts a person's score, but apparently Nate is an exception, right?

A few years ago, they put in a wheel. And in one round, everybody had to spin a wheel, and whatever "legendary" dunk it landed on, they had to do it.

.........i was talking about the dunk over spudd webb, not the very last dunk by nate

14 tries is too much and the marks shouldn't that high although it's a good unk...i would give it a 8
9 is tops i can give

Which AI are you talking about? Both of them are better than Nate.

Yeah, the We Got Robbed thing is great... look at Dahntay Jones'... too bad Kobe's expression isn't in there.

Are you talking about Nate's dunk that took him 15 tries? That dunk really sucked IMO, even with the weird lob it doesnt deserve anything above a 45. All those misses really hurt him from a fans perspective, if the contestants knew that attemting that many dunks was acceptable then they probably would have went for much more difficult dunks.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting The Soft Parade:</div><div class="quote_post">Haha good try by Cheryl Miller trying to get the crowd to cheer them on, they knew Iggy won at the end.

I`m still tramatized by Damon Jones`s sports jacket.</div>

    So true. Was LMFAO.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BigMo763:</div><div class="quote_post">In a way, though, I feel bad for Nate. He's going to take a lot of heat for this in the future, and Iggy will always be revered as the true winner of the '06 dunk contest.</div>

I was thinking just this after I saw the contest.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 9DollarBalla:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah i deffinatley have to say that they should have kept the 2 attempt rule. Cause after like 20 tries it doesnt seem as good of a dunk</div>

True, because the anticipation is gone. Someone should have taught Chris Andersen that.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Locke:</div><div class="quote_post">I hate how Magic always says the dunk contest is back, every friggin' year. It was back once they got rid of the wheel.</div>

It WAS back after Iggy did his behind-the-backboard thing. The fact we had a dunkoff wasn't bad, but no way should Iggy have lost it. No way. Nate SHOULDN'T have had to push through exhaustion to dunk, it should've been the first time.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting BigMo763:</div><div class="quote_post">[IMG]

LMFAO again, notice how Iverson is smilin while saying that? The trophy means nothing and it's just lighthearted entertainment. I feel bad for Iggy though...mouthing "What happened?" and looking like that.
