You would think but it won't matter. The team defense is atrocious. Only Igor playing out of his mind last year saved them. With the talent of the 6 defenseman on this roster, this team should almost never be letting up odd man rushes or over 25 shots per game. Not to mention having a Selke candidate at center in Zibanejad. It's quite easy to see why Gallant was fired from his previous two jobs. He can't implement a defensive system on a high level.
