Official Game Thread: Houston Rockets (4-4) @ Atlanta Hawks (1-5)

of course, your team lost me 20 bucks...i had to release my anger somewhere...and not every single post here is supposed to be an indepth geeky analysis right?

 

I'm frustrated that the Rockets lost also, but I expect to finish around the same place we did last year......the McGrady trade will be better for Houston's future.........as much as I loved steve,cuttino,and cato I couldn't see that team taking the next step, once we get the right pieces around Yao and Tmac then all of you non believers will see the benefit of the trade

 

It all really depends on their chemistry. If in the middle of the season the players starting clicking and Bob Sura plays like his last days of his Hawk's days, then we should become a great team and maybe better than where we were last year. However, the other probability is that we just won't develop it this year and hope for next year. First of all, I just hope Dawson doesn't make any more trades unless its for a decent point guard since we need time for the team to bond and let the players know themselves. The more trades that are made, the more chemistry problems there will be.

I'm just wondering...for those who got to watch the game...were the Rockets double-teaming anyone throughout the entire game? I've noticed that Houston has trouble recovering from the double-team, once the opposing team plays through it.

 

they did throughout the game, the help defense is both the strength and weakness of their defense.
