15 is much more manageable and frankly am shocked it is not closer to 30 the way we have performed this half. We finally settled down 22 minutes into the game.

Does it bother anyone else that we never go for a 2-1 opportunity?

We all drank the kool-aid in some form or another. All of us have been waiting for this game over a year. I think that's a little bit of an overstatement, given the circumstances and our own (unrealistic) expectations.

Please start Batum in the 3rd quarter. And if you want to put Bayless in instead of Blake, I wouldn't advocate

At down 15, we have a legit shot. Down 30....not so much.

What I want to see in the second half:

    1. Calm the fuck down.
    2. Brandon, get to work. You can take any guy that they put on you.
    3. Greg, get your ankles taped, and look active damnit!
    4. Nate, if you don't play Rudy for the remaining 24 minutes.....
    5. Have fun?

15 points could be a lot worse. Roy is getting schooled by Kobe. Aldridge is looking like a no-defense version of Rasheed Wallace. Oden looks exhausted.

There are lots of good things, though. Outlaw is working hard on defense and maybe hitting his stride defensively. Oden looks like he knows what he WANTS to do, and he'll get there when he gets his legs/wind. Blake hit some shots, and Rudy looks pretty good.

That mini-run at the end of the half helps make this halftime less painful :)

I know many of us are whining but we will play better in the 2nd half. I think the next game at home is the one we really break out. At least I hope we do. I'm just worried about how Oden seems to be always be limping a little bit. Lets start over in the 2nd half and play like the first half didn't happen. I guess all the talk from Nate the last couple days didn't calm their nerves.

Outlaw has been one of our best players. Keep him in.

Play Bayless for sure though. Can't be any worse than Sergio was.

OK...let's talk travis. Yes he's 4-7. Two of those were contested pull-up 18footers (one on a 3-on-2 break). He had a nice layin off of an offensive board (the one time he went inside), and a three from the corner. Please don't pretend to tell me he's played a good game. Being the tallest midget in the circus still means you're small---and the crazy thing is, we can expect Roy and Oden and LMA to snap out of it. There's nothing for Outlaw to snap out of. this is who he is, and at his "best" b/c he's making the tough, stupid shots.

My rotation in the 2nd half
Roy,Rudy,Outlaw,LMA,Oden,Przy,Bayless and spot minutes for Frye/Blake
Blake has shown me nothing I want in a point guard. he can't play good D, doesn't run the break...I like him, but he's a backup, not a starter.

I'm sorry, but this is a completely ridiculous post. Outlaw and Rudy are the only reason the Blazers are even somewhat still in this game.

I'll be sure to just ignore any posts about Outlaw that you make the rest of the season; it is obvious that you have an agenda and and obvious bias against the guy.
