hey purple fever...i just realized that you're "dre" on the realgm board...big up

also...if mo and williams are starting again...id have to call jalen our 6th man, not yell...but whatevs [IMG]

im not too sure why everyone is writing off the raps so badly in this game. we've been playing really well against good teams...we've beaten san antonio, mini, utah (when they had ak47 and playing well), miami...of course on paper the games looks pretty lop-sided but the way the raps have stepped it up against some of the tougher teams in the league, there is a chance we can beat them

hmmm, hard to say who would be 6th man between Jalen and Yell. I think Yell takes better shots, and plays tougher d. But Rose has more offensive talent, and can create on his own. Tough call.

most people would probably say Rose is the 6th man

but Donyell's better for the team, so i give it to him

This game is gonna look like the Sacramento one. The other teams played a style we could exploit. The Suns play our style at its best.

ya we actually tied it at one point, but it was obvious from the beggining that we were gonna lose.

I wasn't that surprised by the game. It shows that we can stay in any game, with any team.

Bosh played decent. Didn't play aggressive though. He reminds me of a young offensive Chris Webber, that's left handed. Just needs a little more edge to his game.

Jalen is not meant to play on the bench. Mo Pete is. Start the guy. I don't see how Mo deserves the starting SG spot more than Rose. Atleast Rose is closer to consistant than Peterson.

if ur saying chucking up illadvised shots and not playing defense is more deserving or is consistent, then yes i agree that Jalen should start over Mo

We could have had that game, it was tied at 80 a piece.

Then there were two calls that swung the momentum and then we became disheartened.

    1. When Nash set a pick and was holding Palacio. However Palacio was called for the foul.

    2. The goaltending call on Murray, Murray blocked Amare's shot and I saw the replay a few times and it really looked good.

I know that things happen so quickly, and its hard for the refs. But man, if those close calls went for Toronto, I think we would have won it.

    The Major Stat:

Donyell: 0-3 FGs, 0-0 FTs, therefore 0 Points.
    Woods: 0 Points, 3 rebounds.

    That's the game right there.

He does chuck up illadvised shots, yes, but atleast he gives us a scoring option. Jalen knows how to score, and he can score. Mo can score on jumpers. When he goes into the lane, he's almost always out of control throwing up wild shots. Jalen is our best inside presence, he may be a liability on defense, and may frusterate you at times, but he's our best scoring option, and he can score. Today we scored, 94 points, but that was expected considering we we're playing in an uptempo Suns style, and also that the Suns don't play defense besides Marion and Outlaw. Plus 19 of those 94 came from Jalen. He can give you 14-20,22 Points a night if you give him the ball and give you a legit scoring option, opening scoring oppurtunities up for other players. Mo can't, unless you going after a ball flipped up in the lane is called a scoring oppurtunity.

I agree..I dont understand why they dont run more plays for Jalen. The guy can clearly score, his D is questionable but how is he gonna play inspired D if he doesnt get the ball much on the offense?

Now find out the pattern with those teams we've beat, all halfcourt teams. Minnesotta is in the middle, but we haven't beaten any fastbreak teams this year, or if we have it's not been many. Wizards, Nuggets, Kings, Clippers, Suns...all losses.

Not really...we shouldn't depend on Woods to score ever, and Donyell wasn't shooting that much anyways, that's not the game. The only reason we even came back was because Phoenix started playing around, as soon as they got serious again, and Jalen kept jacking, they regianed the lead easily.
