This team doesn't seem to have the fire burning in them. The Rockets, despite being sub .500 for pretty much the whole year, never seems to be taking their losses to heart and just talks about how bad it is to lose. Yao Ming and McGrady should be angry and carrying the team every night with efficiency, yet they commit a boatload of turnovers and missed shots, especially down the line. What's wrong? We seem to be playing the right way, but it just doesn't seem we are giving the effort.
What's wrong with them? I've seriously been pondering this question for the last few days. I mean, excuses are just running out. They've been together for about four months already, so you can't really blame team chemistry. You can't blame that they have no quality point guard since they have that in Bob Sura. Plus, you blame all of it on their power forward problem since they've got some nice hustle power forwards such as Weatherspoon but just never play them. The Rockets should be at least a .500 team, but they aren't living up to any of the hype that has surrounded them since the McGrady deal. Steve Francis or Cuttino Mobley is sounding pretty nice right about now.
