Official JBB 2005 NBA Mock Draft Rnd 1 (v2.0)

From what I've heard and seen of Fran, he's got a lot of raw physical tools that translate well into the NBA. He's got adequate height but a really good wingspan, he's got good footspeed, and he's a hard worker to boot. Not that he's all perfect; he doesn't have his fundamentals down quite yet, so his defense is only ok (his major strength is shotblocking) and his offense is very raw (but some of the strides he has made just this season are amazing). Thus, it seems that he's rated a lot on his current physical tools, his potential and his hustle. He's automatically eligible due to his age, so a team would be silly to pass up a raw talent if their other guys are taken, but really, he would benefit from finding a team that can keep him in Europe for a year to let him develop there on a less stressful level.
