yurt makes me nervous also heard his coach is his agent not sure if that’s true

Here’s what I found he wants to stay in east coast

Ace Bailey's agent is Omar Cooper, the founder and CEO of LifeStyle Sports Agency. He is also the father of former Auburn star Sharife Cooper. While not officially listed as one of Bailey's agents, Omar Cooper is reportedly "running point" on Bailey's pre-draft process, according to The Stein Line's Jake Fischer. Cooper's involvement has raised concerns among NBA teams due to his relatively limited experience with top NBA prospects and his reported desire to have Bailey play on the East Coast.

Maybe LeBron will resign for less if needed so they have some room under the apron?

I have zero concern about holding out for a pick with Grant - if we can just dump his contract that is fine with me. If we can add a Knecht type of youngish player even better.

That trade doesn't work salary wise.

You could do Rui/Kleber or Vincent. I'd do that since it gets off Grant's money.

I'd actually trade Grant/Williams for Kleber/Rui/Vincent straight up. No picks going either way. If the Lakers want a center that badly they can have Williams in exchange for taking on the last 2 years of Grant.

Grant is a good defender. I think he and Williams are a good fit for the Lakers.

I think Jerami would actually thrive with the Lakers

Slight wrinkle: Lakers don't have to take on Jerami, Nuggets cut costs and get Jokic's buddy back:

Even better: reroute the one guy with a non-expiring deal to another team:

BlazerSurprise YouTube guys have a great conspiracy theory idea...

Blazers have a pending trade with the Lakers for Grant.

All parties have agreed the Blazers will get a bit more value by doing a buyout with Ayton and Ayton will sign for cheap with the Lakers.

True - I never suggested otherwise.

But they're on YouTube right now to discuss the Ayton news.

If true this sounds like something the league would investigate and strip a pick from us for doing lol.

If anyone found out there was an agreement like that wouldn't we be punished? Sounds stupid.

It would probably have to be initiated by Ayton's agents.

Notice there's statement in Shams article now saying Ayton approached the Blazers for the buyout. So Blazers have plausible deniability.

I think the mention of the source isn't intended to lend credibility to the idea, but simply attribution.

knecht for grant and lakers consolidate some of their players makes a degree of sense, IMO.

I don't love vanderbilt but his deal is a lot more manageable than grant. you could waive one of the players coming in as well.
