Oh right I forgot about Jim Jackson. Well he has to start getting more productive. Anyways you're right we need some better powerforwards and centers, Brian Cook really has to start hitting the weights and train with Kwame and Bynum when they work with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

I love Cook's J, but nothing else. You're right. He's soft on defense and the glass. Did you see Wilcox (i think it was him) last night jus tmove Cook out of the way and throw it down.

I would take him if he could share the ball with Kobe and understand he would be the player scoring only 18 but grabbing like 14 boards per night. But if we traded for him we would have to give up Kwame and Lamar Odom at the least.

KG would get his 22-25 ppg and 13-14 boards a game. KG does not demand the ball. He could get 25 a night playing with Kobe. It's just losing Odom, we would need a true "initiator", like Kobe used to be and like Odom is now. Parker is the PG, but not the initiator of the offense, so we would have to find a GOOD PG or another initiator.

Kobe sort of is an initiator... Smush is the PG but you're right he isn't one... if we lost Lamar it would be bad, but not too bad but you see, I'm thinking long-term. If we keep Kwame, keep Bynum. They'd be our starters. So it'd be Parker, Bryant, Odom, Brown, and Bynum. Where would KG fit in?

Kwame has been showing signs that he actually has a passion to play the game lately. But then again he could always go back to what he used to do. So we can't count on him being there when the "future" comes around. Adding KG, without losing Bynum, I still think that would put us in contention and a very good chance to win the whole thing.

Im pretty sure Kobe would not have any problems with KG,and I think Garnett do La would be a great move if it could happen.

Why?To start he's not even listening to teams that are trying to pick him up.We just picked up JJ not long ago. Why would we add him, it would create a log jam at the 2 and 3.We just need more depth at the 4 and 5. And a better PG</div>The thing is that while LA is working on getting decent players at all of their positions, teams like San Antonio, Dallas, and Phoenix are already way past that stage, giving them more practice time and draft time. And plus, what would Minny do with those Lakers? You guys say Lakers are nothing without Kobe, no chemistry or anything, and Garnett is chemistry, so this trade would only work if it were a KG for Kobe or anything like that. Yeah, take thAT!!
