Isiah is trynna give away players like they're pokemon cards. I think we should keep Marbury and trade Quentin Richardson for J.R Smith
Harrington is a great young player that I feel is better suited for the small forward spot rather than the power forward spot and I think that's where he'll play for the Knicks. I feel it's a good deal for the Knicks who get to dump Marbury's contract to Atlanta and get a talented SF/PF in exchage. A good deal for both teams I would say with Marbury to help out the young Hawks and Harrington to become part of a new young core for the Knicks. With Harrington, Richardson, Frye, Crawford, and Sweetney the Knicks look like they are built for the future.
PG - Jamal Crawford SG - Q Rich SF - Al Harrington PF - who knows? David Lee? C - Channing Frye That's a pretty solid young athletic team.

J.Crawford/N.Robinson Quenton Richardson/Penny Hardaway/Allan Houston A.Harrington/Trevor Ariza/Tim Thomas M.Sweetney/M.Rose/David Lee/Jyd/Mo.Taylor C.Freye/Jackie Butler/Bruno Sundov I dont like that line up at all.

Damn...I don't know, I'm so confused. Hawk fans have to be idiots first of all, Marbury won't fit into your system, he's not a fast break player, he's not going to mix well on your team well, I don't really care. Marbury is our franchise player, I don't get where Isiah is going. Looking at the bright side, this helps our cap space, but still, we'll have Crawford's, Richardson's, Rose's, Williams's, and Taylor's contract to deal with But theres so many things Isiah can offer, instead he settles for this shitty proposal Nick Van Exel Sebastian Telfair for Stephon Marbury or Sam Cassel Micheal Olowakandi Fred Hoiberg 06 first round pick for Stephon Marbury or Jonathan Bender Ron Artest Scot Pollard Eddie Gill for Stephon Marbury Jamal Crawford haha, this is too unrealstic. All I'm saying, Isiah is an idiot when it comes to trading, because he ALWAYS helps the other team out, but he doesn't hurt us, but he doesn't help us...ya know? Isiah needs to hit a homerun this off season.

Not really. It makes sense for Hawks because they need a forward spot open to play Smith and Williams and they need a point guard. Two birds with one stone. But the Knicks dont need a sf or a pf so i dont see hoe this helps us.
Well, they can move Crawford down to the 1, Q to the 2, and put Harrington at the 3. Unless you want every Knick fans favourite Tim Thomas to start. =)
I dont understand how Knick fan would like this you trade your best player to get ANOTHER forward. That doesnt sound great so the knicks practicly get nothing while the Hawks get a veteran all star PG on their squad

marbury is not a fast break player??? guess u never seen him running tings at 155th every year its the knicks crappy system thats cramping his game now
Thats Streetball pa, Marbruy in NBA rules is a dominant player in the half court He's sub par in the full court
I think in order for the Knicks to win they need a combination of one good big man, a good point guard, and a good shooting guard, plus the chemistry to go with it along with the supporting role players at the 3/4 or 5. They got the point guard spot taken care of, but there's no consistency coming from the 2 guard nor the type of defense a solid backcourt should have to limit the other team's heavy scorers. There's also the unlikelihood that anyone will pass the rock other than Marbury, who can be a ballhog at times. Plus, when you play small with no shotblock presence, a team is just asking to get crushed. I can sympathize with the Knicks fans who must live with a GM that is being very questionable, to put it nicely. I'm a Warriors fan so I should know. We've survived the worst GM's decision making (Dave Twardzick) and it took two GM's, about 5 or 6 coaches and 11 years to finally see some turnaround. The other guy I don't like is Rob Babcock. The guy seems like a moron to me, to put it nicely.
wait...what the hell, didnt Isiah said he will build this team around Marbury? Isiah is lying to us each day.
I think He's on drugs and just forgot what type of team he wants the knicks to be. So until he remebers he's just gonna go with the "Young and Athletic" explanation.
