Im wondering how this puts Kobes and Shaqs relationship now. I know Kobe said they did have problems, but I also know Shaq and everybody in the world thought Kobe wanted Shaq outve town. Turns out it was Buss. So everybody was critizing Kobe for Shaqs departure, but realisticly Kobe was covering up for Buss/Lakers and was taking the heat. Sortve shows what type of person Kobe is.

I've read all your posts and it's still pretty realistic that he does get traded. If he doesn't want to be there he will just be a distraction.

If you're a halfway decent GM you have to inquire, so yeah the Raptors should.

I am absolutely stunned.I think in the East, a trade to the Nets could work. Nets are looking to shop VC in a sign and trade, RJ is tradable, and Nets are already a solidified team that could very well make the Finals with the addition of Kobe. The Knicks have a lot of talent with massive contracts that could make it work. Trade some of the cancers (Marbury/Francis/Crawford), and add Kobe to the young and talented roster in the weak East.Bobcats have a ton of cap room and young talent. Magic have some decent trade pieces, I am sure a bit of cap room, and a Kobe/Dwight combo would be dominant in the East.I don't like the idea of Chicago as they would likely have to trade too much of their young core. If they could somehow keep Deng, Thomas and Hinrich, then I'd be all for that trade.Pacers have a big piece in JO to trade, but then Kobe would be in the same position he is in now.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticBalla32 @ May 30 2007, 03:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>As great as Kobe is, that's giving up too much and why would Kobe come to a team like Boston (ESPECIALLY after you take out Big Al, Gerald, Wally, West). Kobe would not come here, we'd have to give up way too much, and Pierce/Kobe wouldn't work nor would it get us anywhere with nothing around them.</div> That little package too much for Kobe? Rofl. Al Jefferson and West are solid young players but when you get a chance to get maybe the best player in the game you take it over young guys with "potential". Plus Pierce isn't young, he wants to win now and if Boston doesn't do something soon they could be facing a situation where maybe he wants out so they get better and make Pierce happy. And why would Kobe want to go to Boston? Two words man, Paul Pierce. Put Pierce at sf and Kobe at sg rondo at pg perkins at center bring in another big through free agency and then just build their bench up a little bit and they're a contender in the East. Pierce and Kobe alone could get Boston in the playoffs.
