I'm not saying he will be. I'm saying he should be.

I guess, not at all age-wise though. Which is why I see Detroit saying no thanks.

Precisely. And everyone seems to think that every GM in the league would crap themselves to put LMA on their roster.
And it seems that a lot of people carry the opinion that you don't need to put a team together of players who are all the same age. And at only 28 that still gives a lot of productive years (more than the length of a contract) for Drummond/LMA.

But what is more valuable? Aldridge, Drummand, Lillard, Prince and Matthews or Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Hickson, Monroe?

Well, I put my answer in bold. Seems obvious enough. Prince is just about irrelevant. Nic is easily a Top 5 player at his position.

    The real differences are

    Aldridge > Monroe
    Drummond >>> Hickson
    Prince <<<<<<<<<<<<< Batum

Some facts so far this season. All of us remember LaMonster 10-11 season. For the entire season, he had 36 double doubles. So far this season (halfway point) he has 20 double doubles.

I dont get the monroe love. He is a young al jefferson. Good rebounder, great scorer and about as good as hickson on D.

No he's not. Some people may think that, but it's certainly not as clear cut as Nic at his position. The league is stocked with good PFs.
Over the weekend we saw that Blake IS better.
    Bosh IS better.
Duncan - even at this stage - IS better.
    Cousins IS better.
    Zbo IS better.
    When healthy, Dirk IS better.
    Love IS better.
    Heck, David Lee is better.

    Bosh is not better.
    Duncan is is not better
    Cousins is a center
    ZBo might be better
When healthy Oden was the best center in basketball
    Love is better
    Lee is not better

Really? I see Duncan defensive tendencies in Monroe (and I mean that as a good thing).

Duncan is a center. Even pop admitted that.

lma is top 5, we all know you dislike lma, but lets be honest here. lma is easily top 5.

    Batum,might be top 5.

Lebron, kd, melo are for sure better. Paul George? Luol deng? Andre iguodala??

    Griffin is better.

I think these PFs are better than Aldridge right now.

    1.) Duncan
    2.) Griffin
    3.) Love
    4 a.) Aldridge
    4 b.) Bosh
    5.) Lee
    6.) West
    7.) Smith

Well he said Griffin was abusing Aldridge on the first Clipper game. He didn't notice that Hickson was playing D on Griffin most the night. It's blue9; you gotta give him a pass for his myopic hatred towards Aldridge.
