<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">the pistons are fading, and the sixers are a lottery team now. he sets up his teams for one maybe two good years, then they are screwed. the sixers are in horrible cap troubles, and if it wasnt for that darko trade detroit would be too. but since big ben wants out, they are going to be pretty poor in a year or two.</div>

The pistons just had a franchise record season for wins? They were the favourite to win it all....sure they didnt, but **** happens. You can hardly say their "fading".

Also Brown wasnt the reason the 76'ers got into some cap problems...King did most of that after Brown had left, while he attempted to mantain his teams playoff credibility he made some bad trades, gave away contracts to people who hadnt shown that they earned them..and generally sucked. not browns fault there.

Also you gotta understand that life as a basketball franchise is an up and down affair...rarely do teams stay at a very high level for a long long time. San Antonio has done it, the Pistons have dont it, the Lakers did it....making a team good for "only 2 years" is better than never making the team do anything.

I'd personally rather be great for 2 years and then suck for another 4, as opposed to being first or second round exits year after year.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Char:</div><div class="quote_post">The only good thing I would like to see is that Isiah proves his worthlessness as a coach and GM and never gets an important job in the NBA ever again. He is an embarassment, IMO. I don't need to list the things he has done as a coach and league owner(CBA).</div>

I'm curious..some one pm me, or give me a link or something. What happened with Isiah and the CBA?

He bought the CBA and it went bankrupt like two years later.

I know it's not really random, I was being a little too loose in words, but I think at some point in time a team needs to start looking to get some consistency. Obviously you never get consistency from 1-15, but at least in your main guys and in management and coaching etc.

Man what a crash and burn for Larry. He came in all excited to lead his franchise and he was back with his family, but look how everything panned out. Who knows what the future is like for Brown.
