We now have 2 mid 2nd round picks and I think 3 3rd rounders, still looking ok at the moment, Hopefully we grab Stovall or Nance!

I like the Pack's pick of Colledge. A Real athletic tackle.

    D. Colledge Tackle from BOISE STATE! I like Boise State. But is this guy good? This guy is from Alaska also. Thats all I know about him. 6 picks on one day is good...But hows our WR core gonna go? We gotta wait a see!

edit: Not going to strong with this draft...getting bored...6 and a half hours....

    edit2: 7 hours of Draft....WOW!
WR Greg Jennings, Western Michigan picked for the 2nd, 2nd round pick...

These are good picks. Jennings I posted about. I really like him. He's know Javon but he'll be solid I think as a pro.

Colledge is a great pick as well. He fits our zone scheme perfect. Great pass blocker. Maybe needs to add a little weight and improve his run blocking. Should push for a starting spot. Will probably play offensive guard for us.

Ryan Cook to the Vikings - he's a beast. Good to see them wanting to develop someone behind Birk.

I, too, thought Cook was a good pick for the Vikes...

I thought they reached a round early for him. I think they want him to play RG as well though. He can play guard or center at the next level.

Time to take a brake...Ill come back at 7! Im tired...20 minutes can help!

Cook played OT & Center at New Mexico. He is quite a mauler.

Perhaps the 2nd best Center behind Mangold?

The knock on him is that he doesn't leverage his strength.

One thing the Vikings have done is draft players with high character levels. All of their draft picks have been noted for being 'good guys'.

I guess they think Starhan has only 2 or 3 years left and they are prepping him, I think its a bit of a risk.....

I like the Moss pick though.

ST. LOUIS (April 29, 2006) -- St. Louis Rams general manager Charley Armey was hospitalized on the first day of the NFL draft, after complaining about general weakness and pain in an arm.

Team spokesman Rick Smith said preliminary tests were normal, but that Armey would be kept overnight at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

Armey has been with the Rams since 1997 and is responsible for much of the player evaluation in the draft.

Not sure about the small school QB they just drafted... Guess they need a camp arm or a practice squad guy.

Then again, he could be the next Tom Brady. I guess no one ever knows until a few years later.

I like the Tony Moll pick as well, Converted Tight End with quick feet, basically your perfect Zoneblocker.
