    They don't want to waste a Nurk performance on a game they think they'll definitely lose. Better to give him the home crowd to pump him up, play him only in the home games, and if we somehow take it to Game 7, then he plays in Game 7 too.

    If Durant doesn't play in game 2, I think we have a legit shot at stealing that game and then have Nurk come back in game 3 to possibly go up 2-1.

    EDIT: Also, Nurk announcing TODAY he's not playing in Game 2? Total bait to make Kerr think KD can take the game off safely. We are literally using the threat of Nurk like a country uses the threat of nukes to negotiate with another country.
