OKC seem to be doing Summer League right. They rest Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson goes off, and today they rest Jackson and Lamb goes off. And Adams looks solid: big and mobile and not lost on the court. Back to back double-figure scoring outings. Oh, and they're 4-0. However, because I hate OKC I will look for a nit to pick: Jackson is not much of a PG. Their best PG is Dwight Buycks (who has adopted the clever tactic of wearing neon shoes. Every undrafted free agent struggling to make a team should do something like that.)

You know, having a center with a long shot might be threat enough to keep centers from collapsing on Lillard, especially if he's working on his inside game more. Thinking only of our offensive sets, not of defense here, but you can prevent a lot of double teams on Lillard if the guy making the initial pick has range enough to make the shot from where the pick happens. LMA could do that, but we were in trouble when JJ tried to make that pick and roll happen. I'm possibly wrong here, but giving Leonard a pick and pop ability opens up options for Damian, and prevents that dreaded midcourt double that he was seeing late in the season.

Having an outside shot and a decent post game makes the defender stay on you. If you don't have the outside shot, then they just play on the guard and let you float.

Exactly. Leonard having a publicly known range game might change the scouting report on him, helping Damian out.

    Interesting little nugget from Stotts

He could be talking about Robinson and Wright since he declined to talk about them today....or maybe not

Interesting indeed; I do think Neil isn't done yet, but there's not a ton left to do outside of trading a Big Piece.

Has anyone been watching any of the Orlando SL games? What players stood out to you? I've caught a few minutes here and there and was surprised by the Plumlees and Mitchell.

    Oladipo
    Plumli
    Nicholson

Olynyk is putting up good numbers, but man he has slow feet. It will be interesting to see him in the NBA

I'll get that hot nurse down the hall to take care of that for you. I hear she's sweet on you because of your snuggly disposition.

Solomon Hill looked very solid. Steven Adams doesn't look lost. Andre Drummond is monstrous on D but still incredibly raw on O. Ian Clark looks good for the Heat.

I thought Roberson looked good in one game but has been sitting out games - don't know why.

Obviously Reggie Jackson has been scoring at will, but still isn't really a PG. But they're used to that in OKC with Westbrook. Dwight Buycks has been the best PG for OKC and has looked solid. Makes the right decisions, hits open shots.
