<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">I'd want Bargnani, but he's getting picked in the top three probably and most definitely not falling out of the top ten.</div>

He would be a good pick up, but wouldn't be an instant pick up...but would still give 8-10 pts a game.
    So much upside.

To bad Toronto is devoted to getting him at 6-7 pick

They can get anywhere from 8-11 Anything below 8 is not going to happen.

Well toronto Gm Bryan Colangelo is firing out alot of smokescreens right now like in past years in the draft ala 2002 Stoudmaire. Plus didn't he state that he would trade down if his guy would be there or something.

If I'm correct, it was sixth. The Bucks last year had the same percentages as us, and they got first too.

However, I'm sure there's implentations in place that prohibit teams from getting a top 5 pick when they have like a .005% chance of getting the first overall.

I'd like to see Rodney Carney end up in Houston, I think he'd energize the crowd with those surging electric dunks he always has. Maybe even have him on the court with Head and T-Mac [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting tinyballer:</div><div class="quote_post">Man imagine if we can nab a pair of gators with our two picks. Noah or Horford in the first round then Corey Brewer in the second round. He could be the answer beside mcgrady. and horford the answer beside yao. if they turn out we could have quite a team.</div>

Brewer's potetial and the way he played vs. UCLA makes him a first rounder. I think Rodney Carney is the best fit for the Rockets. He is an athletic player who can alternate with T-Mac at the 2 and the 3.

all i see him do is dunk. we dont need that type of player that can only dunk. Thats just 1 game. Just because of one game you think we should waste out first round pick for him? Wasnt he like the 16th pick last year? I know rockets will get 12 or higher pick? Why pick a 16th overall pick when you can get a 12th pick. He isnt good newayz.

In the past week with 25 minutes per game hes averaging 17.7 points a game but needs rebounds and assists. He can shoot. Please don't comment if you haven't seen the player.
Ex. JJ redick shoots and thats it

Yes...He does shoot and thats what he is known for, but 30% of his shots are 3s as comapred to last years 55%. He can dribble the ball and lay it up in traffic if needed. Watch the games.

Ex2. Chuck Hayes isn't just a rebounder which he is generalized as.
He can put the ball back with the best of them and has a very high FG%

We're probably not going to draft McRoberts, because of the fact that he's only up there on the draft board because of potential. Right now the Rockets need someone to contribute right away and make an impact, plus the powerforward position is already jammed with Howard, Hayes, and Swift all trying to find minutes.

I think Mcroberts would play 3 gaurd in the nba just because hes more of a shooter...passer...and has the athletisism to play 3 gaurd. He doesnt really have the size to play 4.

He does not seem at all quick enough or fast enought to play at the three

I wrote a short program that spit out the probabilities of us getting a particular draft pick, given our record order. Assuming I understand the rules correctly (followed this), it should be accurate.

Obviously, we won't finish more than 6th worst in record. But here are the probabilities for the worst 5 teams:

    <div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><br/>12345<br/>12519.915.611.98.8<br/>221.518.815.812.69.6<br/>317.817.115.613.310.7<br/>435.731.922.69.90<br/>DRAFT5012.326.535.126.2<br/>PICK60041636<br/>70001.28.4<br/>800000.4<br/>900000<br/>1000000<br/>1100000<br/>1200000<br/>1300000<br/>1400000<br/></div>

We'll probably finish 6th to 11th worst record:
    <div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><br/>67891011<br/>16.34.32.81.71.10.8<br/>27.14.93.321.31<br/>38.15.83.92.41.61.2<br/>4000000<br/>DRAFT5000000<br/>PICK643.900000<br/>730.559.90000<br/>8423.272.4000<br/>90.11.816.881.300<br/>10000.812.2870<br/>110000.48.990.7<br/>1200000.26.3<br/>13000000.1<br/>14000000<br/></div>

And finally, for the teams that finish with 12th to 14th worst record (as you can see, almost guaranteed the last three picks):

    <div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><br/>121314<br/>10.70.60.5<br/>20.80.70.6<br/>310.90.7<br/>4000<br/>DRAFT5000<br/>PICK6000<br/>7000<br/>8000<br/>9000<br/>10000<br/>11000<br/>1293.500<br/>133.9960<br/>1401.898.2<br/></div>
