Is D.J White from Indiana a good pick for the hornets with the 27th pick? JW [IMG]

I just picked. We need a center and he seems to be the best available. What do you guys think?

I like him. My only problem with him is he isn't a true floor general which is what the Celtics need with the kind of team they have with the abundance of superstars. I guess Rondo fills that role, but He has been question for his decision making skills on the court.

I don't know anything about Ajinca, unfortunately.

Chalmers, on the other hand, is a great pick at this point in the draft. I thought he was BPA at this point.

Oh, and I was aiming for Jawai or Hardin. I'm glad Hardin was still there, slightly disappointed I couldn't pick up Jawai.

Ajinca is the guy I was after, nice pick. I'll have to think about who I want next for a moment.

Chalmers has never made a clutch shot in his life.

I don't like the Ajinca pick for the Wolves so much. With 31 you are in position to still grab a talented player who can come in and help right away, and Ajinca has contract issues, so he may never come over, and even if he does, it won't be for a couple years, when the Wolves need all the help they can get right now.

If my pick 34 were to happen, I would cry of joy. What are thoughts on my Speights pick.

And Kid Chocolate, I know he has contract issues, and my hope would be that he does come over and Speights and Smith could just be a small frontcourt for the time being.

Speights and Smith would be a huge backcourt! If that's your backcourt, who is in your frontcourt? [IMG] Portland doesn't have room for any more players to come in this season, so I didn't have Speights in mind, but I have no idea how everybody let him slip that far and I think he is a great pick for Minnesota at 34!

Oh, lol thanks I'll edit that. But as far as my pick goes I was shocked to notice he was still there (he being Speights of course). He is projected to be picked pretty high in the first round... top 20 I think.

So, picks 18 and 19 in this draft pulled out after they were picked. Who would those teams go for if not those players?

I really like Courtney Lee for the Clippers, but this is good, too.

Add Westbrook and Taylor to Maggette, Mobley and Knight and you have one hell of a guard rotation. It takes a lot of pressure off of Shaun Livingston.

The frontcourt is Brand, Kaman, Thornton, Fugazy and maybe Fazekas getting some minutes. That's a very dangerous, tough team with improved shooting and perimeter defense to go with their already excellent athleticism.

I love to see Oregon Ducks get drafted and play in the NBA, but that seems like a bit early for him to come off the board to me.

No shooting guards. It's a dearth.

He's a great prospect, though. He's stronger and more athletic than Bill Walker and his knees and a much better shooter, too.

If it seems early for him, it's probably because all the good shooting guards went to Oregon and they got in each others' way. [IMG]

I know, I know....but I had to put sentiment aside and do what Memphis would do. And I don't think they could've passed up on the thought of gettting both Lopez bros. to play side by side. I see the other guy I was thinking about taking slid all the way to you at #34 (Spieghts)...that would be crazy if Minnesota really got him to help Big Al inside.

Minnesota is rebuilding and are in no rush to put a contender out there right away. With three picks in the draft and a almost full roster, it was smart to pick someone that will help us down the road.

If that happens, Memphis must find a way to get Jarron Collins.
