Cavs rookies shooting 65%, doubling up the score vs. Bucks rookies

they interviewed Podziemski. He was excited to be an experienced & helpful voice for the young players.

It looks like Blazer legend, Badji, is playing for the Bucks summer league team.

I wonder if Dame recruited him.

How did Cronin convince them to give us Deni?

Carr sports academy placed 3rd in the U-17 Las Vegas Summer League tournament.
Tough teams there. The kids had a great time.
I’m on the way to Ann Arbor now.
    Busy week.

Reed Sheppard looks every bit as impressive as I thought he'd be, maybe more. If he can figure scoring out, at a high level, he's more like Jerry West and Steph Curry than people realize. If not, watching the way he jukes people and how he finds the right players....there's Chris Paul in him, too, if his play translates into the NBA, which it should since he simply plays in such a fundamentally sound manner akin to CP3 (Luka and Roy, too, for that matter).

I'm kinda annoyed that the Rockets have all the players I wanted - Amen, Reed, Eason. Only thing I think they messed up is Jabari over Sharpe but Jabari is playing 70+ games a year so go figure

Also, I feel like there's no reason Scoot should be sitting. Blazers need to drill some confidence into him and this is the perfect place to do it.

Plays like an NBA vet PG that has been running pick and rolls for 10 years. Also his feel is elite.

Wonder what would be the split if you asked NBA GMs to pick between him and Scoot.

Two things about the Rockets: Jalen Green is too hot and cold - Sprewell in all the bad ways. And it looks like Sengun has gone from their best player to the guy who doesn't fit in two seasons.

What's Vanvleet's contract like? Can the team opt out next offseason if Reed is ready to be the starter (as seems probable)?

I did wonder what we'd do if he was there when we picked. Lucky for Joe he didn't have to make that call.

I was a proponent of taking him if he was there at 7. Unfortunately for us he didn't make it.

Who's missing? Deandre and Jerami and Matisse. Matisse and Deandre have the excuse that they were at least in camp for the national teams. I guess Jerami didn't get the memo that this is the new thing the Blazers do

No idea if this is true, but Highkin said it was a team decision. Could also be the team managing public perception.

Either way, it smells to me. If it was a team decision, I don't like that the team feels the need to coddle him. If it was his own decision, I don't like that either.
