Ahh that would be a problem if Wade wanted him, seeing as how Wade is the future of the Heat. Oh well, the Lakers just need a pg so Kobe can play his natural position and stop receiving so much hate (it will never stop though) for his low fg %

Edit: How do you guys think Nene would fit in here? He doesnt seem to happy up in Denver and I think he could be a very nice fit in L.A. for us.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Billa_Bong:</div><div class="quote_post">I know the Carter Trade was farfetched but you never know eh... haha well I got another one I think would be great for the Lakers.

    Laker's Recieve / Denver Trades:
    Nene

    Laker's Trade / Denver Recieves:
    Jumaine Jones
Sasha Vujacic(Ya I know some of you won't like this but we need a good pf)

    Laker Positive's:
Gives Laker's good Power Fowards to fill front court letting Odom move down to the sf. Nene can block shots and gives the Lakers another inside presence other than Mihm and also would really complete the Lakers front court.

    Denver Positive's:
This trade gives The Nugget's a good energic tought sf who can hit the three and drive the lane, also with Sasha you get a very good three point shooters and can develope into a great point guard in the future.

    Salary:
With Nene making 2.4 million this year it matches perfectly with 1.6 Jones is making and .8 Sasha is making. Trade Clear on this side of the table.

Edit: This is also a good trade for Denver because of the having Camby and Martin in the Front Court and those two have long term contracts unlike Nene. With Nene gone they can use the talent they get for him to fill in depth on the rest of there roster.</div>

Check that trade idea I posted a while ago, everyone seemed to like it so far. Probably have to give up/throw in a diff mix of players to make it work....maybe atkins or george or someone.

Well I want to keep Sasha, I wont part with him until I can see what he does and I hope the Laker Organization feels the same way, I just think maybe Odom would produce better if we could move him down to SF and get a good PF. What is more of a necessity to you guys though? The pg or the pf? For me its the pg, because we still have Caron Butler carrying some slack for Odom.

Sasha has some potential...they just need to give him a few chances at both the two and the point.

As for what we need more...it would be a starting PF now, since I believe that Bobbitt is the answer to our defensive problems in the backcourt. Then we should look at Kidd...no matter what anyone else says. [IMG]

Bringing in Kidd would be a horribel Decision. I dont think he would make us contenders again and it would kill our cap for the next couple of years, and who is to say he stays healthy? I would rather bring in Sam Cassell

    Haha, I know...I'm joking. [IMG]

Yeah, I mentioned that Sam has a connection with Rudy T...that's where he got his two rings in Houston.

I don't like the idea of Baron coming to LA...or Kidd. I'd rather have Sam Cassell, Earl Boykins, or Kirk Hinrich...hehe. [IMG]

Well I think Baron could adjust...he is from LA and I think he would love to play here, but maybe not..I would love Boykins but I dont see Denver letting go of him, Cassell would be nice, and so would Hinrich, but like Boykins, I dont see Hinrich moving anywhere.

Great Trade Idea For LA (PHILA& TORONTO INVOLVED)

Philadelphia trades: C Samuel Dalembert (5.0 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 0.5 apg in 20.0 minutes)
PG Kevin Ollie (0.7 ppg, 0.3 rpg, 0.0 apg in 7.0 minutes)
PF Kenny Thomas (7.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 1.2 apg in 25.4 minutes)
Glenn Robinson (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Philadelphia receives: SF Luke Walton (1.1 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.2 apg in 9.4 minutes)
PF Lamar Odom (14.4 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 2.7 apg in 35.6 minutes)
SF Vince Carter (15.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 3.0 apg in 30.4 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +17.9 ppg, +3.3 rpg, and +5.2 apg.

L.A. Lakers trades: Tony Bobbitt (No games yet played in 2004/05)
SF Luke Walton (1.1 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.2 apg in 9.4 minutes)
Devean George (No games yet played in 2004/05)
PF Lamar Odom (14.4 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 2.7 apg in 35.6 minutes)
    C Brian Grant (4.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.1 apg in 16.0 minutes)
L.A. Lakers receives: C Samuel Dalembert (5.0 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 0.5 apg in 20.0 minutes)
PG Kevin Ollie (0.7 ppg, 0.3 rpg, 0.0 apg in 7.0 minutes)
Glenn Robinson (No games yet played in 2004/05)
SG Jalen Rose (14.6 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.3 apg in 30.9 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +0.3 ppg, -6.2 rpg, and -1.2 apg.

Toronto trades: SF Vince Carter (15.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 3.0 apg in 30.4 minutes)
SG Jalen Rose (14.6 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.3 apg in 30.9 minutes)
Toronto receives: PF Kenny Thomas (7.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 1.2 apg in 25.4 minutes)
Tony Bobbitt (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Devean George (No games yet played in 2004/05)
    C Brian Grant (4.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.1 apg in 16.0 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -18.2 ppg, +2.9 rpg, and -4.0 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Philadelphia, L.A. Lakers, and Toronto being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Philadelphia, L.A. Lakers, and Toronto had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

i dont see the raptors trading rose and carter for grant bobbit thomas and george...and i dont see the lakers trading odom just for rose and dalembert...extremely tilted to the sixers, giving up dalembert + crap for odom + carter

Hahaha...If you look out your window right now and you see me, then this trade will happen...but it wont, the Lakers do not want Rose even if they get Dalembert with it, Odom is more valuable than that. I just dont see it happening..

    Michael Redd is available!

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Real Deal:</div><div class="quote_post"><font color="red">Let's keep all trade talks in this thread, please.</font></div>

The Bucks are offering Michael Redd, he would be a great addition to a team like the Lakers with no pure shooters. It sounds like he could be had for almost nothing. How is his contract? I would love to see him in Forum Blue as Chicky used to say. [IMG]

Redd is a free agent after this season...another reason why the Bucks may be trying to get rid of him now, to get something out of him. His contract isn't very huge, really...I believe he makes $3 million this season...so who knows what the Lakers think of this trade.

Then again, I don't see Redd playing any other position than the two...which is Kobe's world...unless Kobe moves down to point or up to SF, but I really doubt that'll happen...in fact, that wouldn't be a smart move.

I dont know what you guys think about this but i tihnk it would be great for us. But i would really want Joe Johnson for Caron Butler. This being said it might be possible because both of them are i nthere last year in contract, and the suns have Q in a long term deal. If the trade for caron doesnt work i would try somethign on the lines of Mihm for johnson. It would give the suns a decent center and would give us a sharp shooter kobe could feed off of.

I would really like to see Johnson on our team.

Are you seriously, Johnson wouldn't see the minutes behind Kobe, probably 10 a night.

Not at SG at SF. hes 6-7 same height as Caron an weighs more than him to.

He would provide that deadly shooting that we really need. Hes rea lgood at threes.

Ah, not Mihm. If we trade Mihm, we definitely need a center back.

I'd like to get Dalembert, really.
