I'm tired of his nightly boxscore shoved down my throat, so yes. He isn't on the team anymore. He put up a trip dub in a meaningless game against a team who is coasting until the playoffs. Why do I care? This is a Blazers forum. Steve Blake isn't a Blazer.

I watched the replay of the game here in L.A. Holy crap, Blake was incredible. Looked like a top 5 point guard in the league. He was pulling up for threes off the dribble, getting good shots for everyone on his team. He threw an alley oop to Outlaw that resulted in a wicked dunk. Was fun to see both of the guys play so well. Of course, we had to trade for Camby and I don't regret but I'm happy for them and I think Blake especially will get a very nice contract from some team this summer.

What's crazy is that Steve Blake's last game for us was a win in Phoenix. He had 20 pts and 12 rebs. I hope we can make up for that to get the win on Sunday.

I believe both Blake and Outlaw have team options for next season. I'm thinking they'll keep Blake.

Nope. Blake's team option was actually this year. Both are UFAs.

The Clips do have their Bird rights, though.

Regardless, for the Blazers, the Camby trade was definitely the correct move. The Blazers desperately needed a defensive C and got one.

I've long felt like he's going to get a long look over by the Lakers this summer, so this was sort of his audition. And he fucking nailed it.

As bad as Blake is, he's still a nice upgrade over Derek Fisher. In many ways, he's basically a five year younger version of Fish.

My prediction is that it's a bidding war between Portland and LA for Blake's services. He has a chance at a starting job in LA, but he likes living in Portland and he likes our team. Neither team is going to offer that much money ($2-4 mil/year), but I'm guessing LA spends a little more, and they land him.
