You crack me up man. I don't know if Nic beat up one of your kids on the way home or what? No matter what you are always hating on him.
Injury risk is higher because they hitting period. Injury probability goes up infinity when there is no kneel down play by both teams/ It also goes up infinity when a player commits a basketball play rather than simply dribbling out the clock. It was completely unnecessary. Coaches pulling there starters when the game is a blow out to prevent running the score up as well as reduce injury risk. Your argument is so flawed, it's ridiculous. Have the last word cause I have to be done with this
I will un-nerd it for you. He posted his comment in green font, which is suppose to be reserved for sarcastic comments. IE he doesn't think Batum is Bush League, and is making fun of MM.
I am still completely shocked I am all but alone in my stance that jacking up a shot to get a triple double as time expires in a lopsided win while the other team was walking off the court isn't bush league. But it's all good. People are different
My argument is flawed how? I stated from the beginning that BOTH teams need to play until the end buzzer or whistle. That is being prepared from start to finish to accept whatever risk during play they accepted when they signed up to play in the league. You're the one bringing in another sport into the argument and then bringing injury concerns into it, which really has no bearing on Nic shooting a 35 footer, WHICH is what this topic is about. Pulling starters, dribbling the ball out, increased injuries bla bla bla, that is all just circumstantial bullshit that doesn't lend a bit of credibility to whatever the fuck you are defending for your position about Nic being "bush league". It's just fluff.
It does break the bro-code......but Pop and the Spurs don't need to hang on little things like this. Had it been against a shitty team, I bet their guys would have got pissed. Also Nic is so tight with Parker and Diaw, I'm sure they told them to not sweat it. I myself didn't like it, but it's not as big a deal as you think it is MM.
Amazing this thread is this long. I think all of the people still thinking about this on the entire planet are posted above. Soccer moms gonna soccer mom.
You're the only one that is seems like would flip out if an opposing player did it. Not the players, not the coaches, not most fans. Just you, being upset, all alone. Sent from my banana using Tapatalk 4
Meh, I honestly could care less about it until someone decided to speak for 'us' with their generalizations based on their own moral issues. I wanted to let that person know that they don't speak for me at least.
All I said was that it was bush league. and it was. I don't think it is or was a big deal. It may or may not have been against another team. All that doesn't matter. My stance, and only stance is that taking a shot to pad stats in the final seconds of a lopsided win is bush league.
