Man that part gets me also, I hate hearing people talk about the OKC win model. Im always like you mean the Portland model that OKC copied and had better luck with. I dont want to hate on Durant to much, I want to see him do well, just not too much too soon, all for personal selfish reasons of course.

I watched mostly the Warriors. Tried to watch the Knicks vs celtics and was almost traumatized. I know people here like what happened to OKC but it almost guaranteed another Heat championship which is just sad in my opinion. Also the Grizz being so successful tells you the story about these playoffs, such a meh team making it to the WCF, not to mention one of Indiana/NY being in the ECF....

I'm officially off the Ibaka bandwagon.

I HATE his offensive game. He's primarily a jumpshooter.

All valid points. I'm not sure why I started tuning in this year to be honest. I've been so turned off by Paul Allen/Comcast, and NBA basically being WWF in terms of results.

Maybe the fight intensity and the fighting between teams lol.

Right there with you. So frustrating to hear all the hype about the genius of their team, and then watching them let Harden leave for pennies on the dollar. Then you think of a healthy Roy/Batum/Aldridge/Oden lineup, and man oh man. That team would have absolutely killed, and Paul Allen would never have let one of those guys go to save a few bucks.

I am cheering for Memphis. I always liked Z-Bo's scoring and rebounding, and he's added the ability to be a good passer and a passable defender. I want to see him rewarded for all the steps he's made, both personally and as a player. I wish we could pair this version of Zbo with Aldridge (an Aldridge raised from day one as a Blazer to be a center and not a PF.)

Marc Gasol and Conley are also pretty compelling stories. Both guys who came up in the shadow of much more widely publicized people (Pau and Oden), suddenly forcing themselves onto the center stage.

The Grizzlies are just a really fun team to watch.

That gives me hope actually. Sometimes you watch the playoffs and think "damn they are so much better than us, we are not even close to competing".

But watching these games..... no one is really impressing me except Miami and Wade continues to hobble. Not saying we will compete next year, but if GS can make the jump in one year........there is hope.
