Wiggins will be the next golden boy of the NBA.

If we traded Wes for a player Olshey REALLY likes I would have a hard time disagreeing regardless of the draft pick (as long as it wasn't like bottom 5 in the first round).

Plus the ~7mil off the books would be nice if we could bring in a good big man to backup Lopez.

How many of you would trade LA for a top 3 pick? How many of you think we could get a top three pick for him?

    Same question for Damian.

Might trade Dame, too, but will say no until I know more about the Top 3 draft prospects. I like Dame, but I don't view him as untouchable like most in here do.

Do you think they can get a top three pick for either one of them straight up? Or would it have to include both?

I really like Andrew Wiggins and I think he's going going to be HUGE.

I have reservations. Embiid does the same for me that Oden did which could mean he's a red flag.

No clue. I don't follow NCAA and won't start reading/watching stuff about the draft until we're eliminated.
Based on the way people are talking up this draft I doubt that anyone would give up a Top 3 pick for either player. A team bad enough to get a Top 3 pick doesn't have a need for someone like LMA. And there are just way too many good PGs in the league for someone to give up major star potential (again, based on what people are saying) for someone like Lillard.

NBA announcers will love saying Wiggins OK.

I think Anderson will go top 10. His frame and skillset isn't easy to find.

With us already having a number of young unproven players such as CJ, Barton, Crabbe, TRob, Claver on the roster I'm not really interested in adding a rookie. We only have a couple open roster spots and the team has other needs. I'd like to see the team add a veteran center who is willing to accept a 12th man role but could provide emergency minutes if need be. Sign a third string PG to take Earl's spot. Don't extend Meyers contract but I guess he can stay on the roster for his final guaranteed season. Out of all the years of being a Blazer fan this is a one of the most likable rosters we've had and they are very complete at all positions. Extra big man depth and some defensive specialist are all we will need.

Now if Olshey sees a good prospect available for nearly nothing sure he can consider it but steals like those generally don't happen and unless its a steal we don't need to be giving up future assets to try and make that type of move.

There's a sticky thread for posting about draft picks.

    Glenn Robinson III

    NBA Comparson: Andre Iguodala
Strengths: Not to be confused with NFL's RG3, "GR3" is an above the rim athlete with star potential ... Smooth. Makes everything look easy. Wing player who attacks the basket and makes highlight finishes ... Quick, explosive leaping ability. Gets to the rim in a hurry ... Has a good feel for the game and solid perimeter skills ...Versatile wing with the ISO ability to create shots off the dribble as well as the vision to find teammates ... Runs the floor well and has the fluidity and body control to make acrobatic plays at the rim in transition ... Surprising all around skills for a freshman ... NBA ready body. Focused. Shows strong maturity, both mentally and physically, for a first year college player ... Good decision maker ... Very efficient scorer. 59% from the floor ... Competitive ... Unselfish. Team player. Excellent form on his shot, and shows range to knock down the college three ball consistently. Father was known for being a deadly pull up shooter, and GR3 shows potential to develop the same skill ... Understands spacing. Adept scorer with the ability to find cracks in the defense and moves well to get open ... Solid defender. Gets low, good fundamentals and effort ... Slashes to the basket well for rebounds. Understands positioning and boxing out ... Physical strength and explosiveness allow him to out-rebound bigger opponents. Good anticipation. Very good second leaper allows him to grab a board and make a follow up dunk ... Good length. Wingspan likely in the 6'10 range ...

Weaknesses: Despite being the team's most talented prospect, at times can be too unselfish. He is the third option on the Michigan team after Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr., and has accepted his underclassman role being more of a glue guy who looks for baskets within the flow of a game ... Some may question his ability to be the star of a team because of this ... At 6'6, he's on the smaller side for the 3 position, but could conceivably develop into a SG over time ... Offensive game shows nice potential but still has a lot of room for improvement. Creating and pulling up off the dribble ... Shoots a hair below 70% from the FT line. Nothing too concerning but should be better considering his excellent form ... Should concentrate on becoming a vocal team leader. Can also improve on his on ball defense ...

Notes: Father Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson was a former #1 overall pick (1994), and shows the same type of elite level athleticism ... He's got a feel for the game that a player who grew up around the game normally possesses ... Unlikely to be fazed by making the jump to the NBA having grown up around the league and should receive solid advice on the off court and business end of the game ...Will likely become the unquestioned team leader and first option if he returns to Ann Arbor for his sophomore year ... Has top 10 pick potential ... Measured 6'6.5 (in shoes) 211 lbs, with a 6'9 wingspan at the 2013 Kevin Durant Skills Academy

Blazers won't likely go into the first round imo. I think lma and dame deliver and push hard for FA. Then we go into the early second round and try to pick some one up who can be a solid 3rd option behind freeland and Rolo
