This is great. Olshey is underrated who has been an above average GM. Drafting Lillard, Cj, getting Crabbe in the 2nd round, Barton in the 2nd round. The trade for Nurk, I could keep going from even his time before the blazers.. Trust me it's not his fault high level Free Agents don't want to come to Portland, Oregon. For a market like us we need a great talent evaluator and can identify under valued players
I love it. He reminds me of my grandfather's sister (great aunt? ). We were making a family trip to the coast and I asked her if she was looking forward to it. She looked at me with a smile and said, "I don't care. I've seen it before. I'm 96 and will die soon so it doesn't really matter if I go see it again. The memory will just be wasted in a few months or whatever. It's just some water. "
I don't think she knows how to use a computer, so she will fit right in. If you see a WrinklePuss69 (she forces us to call her that) you will know it is really Myrna Pruner.
In spite of your complaining, I find it heartwarming that you choose to honor your great aunt by using her photo as your avatar. BNM
That wasn't really a strawman. A strawman is when you make an argument against a stance the other side isn't taking. Your question implies measuring success based on reaching the WCF, Denny's response implies that the Blazers probably won't, but how many teams will (since GS is almost a lock for awhile). So he was answering your question.
Re-read--he was talking about reaching the NBA finals, not the WCF. So yes, he was arguing against a stance I didn't take.
