Top two from each pool go through to the quarter finals, as well as the top two ranked third placed teams. So they’ll both be in the quarters regardless of the result.
I read yesterday that the Celtics might be targeting him in free agency. That would be...weird. COME BACK TO US, PATTY!
Somehow we’re still a constitutional monarchy. The royals are strangely popular, and the republican movement has faded since it’s peak in the late 1990’s. Then again, we don’t have to pay a cent towards their upkeep. I suspect sentiments would be different if we did.
Germany were double and sometimes even triple teaming him, which is how he got the assists. He was cold early, but shot himself into form. Patty wouldn’t be listening to anything NBA or contract related right now, he’s 100% focused on medaling.
He didn't run the 2nd group offense when Dame was out, which is what I specifically referenced. CJ's role changes with and without Dame.
Dame played defense. Whole stint on court. He had 2 steals, even though he was only credited with 1. He just didn't hit shots. But his teammates did, and after a slow start, where guys i've never heard of hit early 3's and drives, the USA smoked them.
You must been watching something else because he run offense when Dame was out and that's why they terrible ball movement with that group.
Honestly, I had to read through that exchange a couple times to catch onto what you were saying myself.
Back on topic--seems like the US got a lucky break with both Slovenia and France on the opposite side of the knockout draw from them. Of course, Spain's a tough matchup for them, and they've already lost to the Aussies once in exhibition, but I'm sure they'll be thrilled not to have to see Luka or France until/unless a medal is on the line.
