I wanted to dump Boyle for years now. However, if dumbass Sather wants to keep him, then lock him up to 4 years. That way if they want to dump him at the deadline next years it is like another team signing him to a 3 y, 6 million deal. Let's face it. If this team snuck into the playoffs again, Boyle played well for a third straight year in the playoffs, his value is going to rocket up. The only reason I'd sign him to a 4 year deal if they decided to keep him is because if he has another good playoffs if the team makes it there, Boyle will only be more valuable to another team that can control him for a long period of time. Bottom line, I'd still dumb the tool.
