It's all good, Sly. He apparently has a lot of animosity towards me for whatever reason. Whatever floats his boat I guess.

They are both good peeps. Atleast from my experience. I see where Hobbs is trying to go with him. But maybe he should just leave that 'part' of it alone,

Hobbes, do what I do. Imagine you're arguing with a dog with a wrinkly face. Rough up PapaG and he'll become obedient. Give him no respect at all. Works for me.

Be quiet, mod. This Hobbesarable poster rarely posts about the actual team, and yet again I'm called out by other posters. ;)

Aw I'm joshing, Papa. You can poke your nose in here anytime you want. You may be Denny's biggest moneymaker and we secret investors don't want to lose you. Just because I kick you around, you shouldn't take it seriously.

We don't have a time machine so while older I think Conley is better now, the question your asking is where will Lillard be after as much seasoning. IMO this move makes us better today but is it a long term risk sure.

Maybe he just hates your avatar cause no matter where he tried to touch his stuffed tiger it just never came alive.

It doesn't even make us better today. Good try, though. No one can accuse you of not thinking outside the box.

I would only trade lillard to memphis if it was for Conley and Gasol and even then it would tear me apart

My guess is that there are very few people who think Conley is better than Lillard right now. Never mind the future.

I think the whole argument is that Conley is better at some things right now, like defense, but he's been in the league for seven years. He SHOULD be better at defense. He's not even remotely as good at scoring though. Overall, he's not as good as Dame, but if someone wants to cherry pick a couple things and use those stats to prove that he's better, I guess that's their prerogative.

Yeah, Conley came into the league with good defensive skills and had to work on his offense, whereas Lillard has very good offensive skills and needs to work on his defense. Overall, I would go with Dame any day of the week.

It's a star league, and Dame is a star. Conley is not a star. It's really that simple for me.

Lillard is improving defensively, but he goes out and wins games and can be really clutch when it counts. I don't put Conley in that conversation although he's a great defender, he's not likely to put the team on his back and will a win. Dame is.

Gotta go with the winners. Dame is a 3-pt shooting assassin from most spots on the court. He's clutch and he's hungry.

    Conley's Defensive rating (pts allowed per 100 possesions) 113, 111, 112, 107, 102, 100, 106
    Now For Damian: 112, 111

Damians Defensive rating his 1st 2 seasons is about the same as Conley.

Dame just has that it factor. The intangible quality that most stars have that makes them go out and kill their opponents. You saw what KD did in our game a few weeks ago when he picked up a t and proceeded to drop like 4 straight threes to put the game away. Dame has that same kinda game. Shabazz Muhammad (refs) and Corey Brewer tried to take him out, but he responded by playing with heightened focus and decided just to dunk on fools or shoot a 3 in their faces.

These traits are invaluable in close playoff games when everyone is more focused. Conley can't even compare.
