Parker wouldnt bolt. There are reports that he told Roy he wants to play for Portland after Duncan retires.

With just Miller and JP for Brand we're still about 6M short of being able to make that trade. It has to be Miller and Przy (or anything totalling about 13.15M) for Brand and the #2

I have never seen any report like that, where did you hear\read that? I agree though that once Parker was here I doubt he would leave as a FA.....

The problem is an inter-division\conference trade.....I just have a tought time seeing San Antonio dealing a key player like Parker to a rival, Portland...even if they got Aldridge (or the #2 pick) in the exchange....

It is possible, but probably unlikely....

Love to see it happen though....

    What a pile of horseshit.

    "Everyone"

    "Once again fault KP".

Who are these strawmen. Name names, post quotes. Be specific. Or shut the hell up.

Actually it was KP himself who built up RLEC. He labeled it the "Golden Ticket", called it the best trading chip in 10 years and promised a "cornerstone" piece coming back.

    Your post = fail.

Where did KP label it the golden ticket, and promise a cornerstone piece?

I was wondering the same thing. My thought is that nothing wowed Paul Allen or Kevin Pritchard, so he saved millions of $$$ by having insurance pay 80% of Raef's contract last season. Of course, maybe Masbee knows something that I don't know...

I recall Pritchard calling it the greatest expiring contract in history, but that was because of only having to pay 20% on it. I guess it's easy to criticize when it's not the poster's millions being saved or lost.

    What?

Ahhh, the shifting sands of argument. Keep changing the target.

What do you know about my opinion on the non-trade of RLEC?

A poster complains that other posters build up KP just to tear him down.

I point out KP didn't need any help building up his own expectations.

From that I am the dick for (in your mind alone) not allowing Paul Allen to pocket millions in savings?

    Gotha.

I think I am starting to understand the bizzaro world logic of a couple of posters here.

So what are you trying to say? You disagree with me or what?

"Shut the hell up" seems against forum rules. But I'll tell you what, I'm really going to take your constructive criticism to heart. I mean really ponder your incredibly insightful comments and reevaluate all my opinions, even my life. Because pleasing username Masbee is really why I wake up in the morning.

You made the claim that Pritchard promised a "cornerstone". I merely want to see that quote. I never called you a dick, either. You're the one labeling posts "a pile of horseshit" and telling posters to "shut the hell up", though, so if the shoe fits...

Prove your criticism of Pritchard. Or don't. Either way attacking posters for questioning your still unverified claims seems a bit juvenile to me, but I digress.

    Back on topic.

I'm thinking if we got #2 then we ought to offer something amazing to the Wizards for #1 and take Wall. Lets say we do the OP's trade and get #2 and only lose Miller and Przybilla adding Brand. We could offer any one (maybe two) of Bayless, Rudy, Brand, Webster, Cunningham, Pendergraph Other bench meat/foreign stash, 2nd round picks, cash and the #2 for the #1.

    PG: Wall
    SG: Roy
    SF: Batum
    PF: LMA
    C: Oden/Camby

Backups (go ahead and minus whoever we traded) Rudy, Brand, Bayless, DC, Pendergraph, Mills.

Hell who needs a bench other then Camby?

    Washington doesn't do that, though.

Yeah, I don't think we're getting Wall. I don't know that it would help if we did. :dunno:

Did Washington say no trades whatsoever? Hell I'm damn near ready to offer up LMA for that pick. I know I'll get crucified for that but if we had Brand/Oden/Camby I'd consider rolling the dice because 1 thru 3 would be set FOREVER.

Sometimes I can't help but wonder Roy is more trouble then he is worth. I wonder what the team would look like with a top flight point guard and a healthy (obviously this is FAR from anything but a dream, let alone a lock, I'm just musing here) Oden/LMA. So many trades get shot down, so many players don't fit all because of Roy. I wonder about that sometimes.

(If I wasn't getting crucified before I'm pretty sure half of you are on the phone to Pontius Pilate right now).

No, they didn't say no trades whatsoever, but Wall is THE top prospect in the draft. Easily. Maybe Cousins on talent, if his head was on straight. I suppose they'd think about Aldridge and 2, but I can't see them at all moving the #1 pick.

Not sure what happened to that part of my post. I said tons of trades get nixed because of "won't fit next to Roy" You don't hear that about Lebron, or Wade or Bosh etc. etc. Constantly I hear so and so won't work with Roy. Well why the fuck not? That tells me there is something wrong with Roy or his game.

I remember when the rest of the team was kicking ass with a healthy LMA and Oden dominating. All I heard was Roy complaining about going away from Kobe and Lebron as though he is even CLOSE to Lebron/Kobe.

I'm not denying Roy's talent, but comparing Roy to Walton and Drexler is pre-mature. We haven't even made it out of the 1st round. Walton won us a ring.
