Yep 100% in agree with you. I don't fault Wes at all for taking that deal. You are worth what someone is willing to pay you
Ummmm we have a lot of intense players on our roster. Far from soulless. People need to get over the past two years. We weren't built to be anything more than a 1st/2nd year exit treadmill team. Yeah, we had nice guys but that doesn't mean anything.
the problem is is it will be harder to get back to that treadmill as it was going from the treadmill to contending
Anybody catch when in the video Wes says "Defense is our achilles heel"?.....but yeah this is depressing as fuck. This was my favorite team by far growing up. fuck man if Wes didn't go down. If Lamarcus wanted to be on the team. We wouldn't be in this position.
Wow..."some diva", ludicrous. Lets take a reality check. The plan all along was to see how far we could get with the core group. Neil stated that he had three years to do so. Fact is that they were not good enough to get very far in the play offs. If they had been able, I am sure that Paul would have moved mountains to retain ever one that he could, regardless of the cost. The real question is, Why pay top dollar for a second tier core? If the Management and fan base is content with first round exits, then be happy now. As the roster is now we stand a good chance of being as good as last year, if not better.
