Ruth Bader Ginsburg done told old Donny to "go to Hell"...

Trump Told Ruth Bader Ginsburg to Resign. Ruth Bader Ginsburg Response? Go to Hell.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 84, has crushed Donald Trump’s dream that her retirement may be imminent by announcing on Thursday that she has hired a full slate of clerks through 2020. Per the release, Ginsburg’s newest hires include: Alyssa Barnard, a Columbia Law graduate; Harvard Law grads Marco Basile and Susan Pelletier; and Stanford Law grad Michael Qian.

President Trump actually demanded Ginsburg resign after she criticized him during the 2016 presidential campaign cycle. Trump cited for his reasoning her “dumb political statements” and inferred “mind is shot.” Ruth Bader Ginsburg eventually apologized for bashing the then-candidate.

During Trump’s presidency, the Notorious RBG has been much more measured in her comments about his job performance, but the shade is undeniable. In a February interview with the BBC’s Newsnight:

“Well… we are not experiencing the best of times, but there is hope in how the public is reacting. The Women’s March — I’ve never seen such a demonstration. Both the numbers and the rapport of that crowd. There was no violence. It was orderly. So, yes, we are not experiencing the best of times, but there is reason to hope that we will see a better day.”

As a refresher, The Women’s March was a direct protest of Donald Trump’s presidency and is estimated to have attracted to D.C. triple the attendees of Trump’s inauguration. That does not count the millions of women who marched across the nation, and throughout the world.

Back in November 2017, Trump had the hubris to release a list of potential Supreme Court nominees… to fill or a vacancy that does not exist. This is but one of scores of examples of this president just being in over his head. He got very lucky that his party was able to hold Scalia’s seat hostage so that he could install Neil Gorsuch. For him to have released his short-list of favorites after having repeatedly insulted Ruth Bader Ginsburg was to engage in a tickle-fight with a wolverine.

Even if Ginsburg had planned for decades to retire before 2020, Trump’s own antics will have caused her to delay that. Once again, Trump proves he’s neither “very stable” nor a “genius.”

I read the thread title, and immediately thought, "...things are gonna get easier..."

I like the article referring to her as "The Notorious RBG". That should stick.

Good thing she's not dependent on ObamaCare or she'd be dead.

Funny shit. The SC2 Trumpsters shed crocodile tears because poor Donny gets no love and respect. They just can’t understand why people are so rude and disrespectful to him. But these very same whiners are having a fine time trashing an 84 old women because they disagree with her legal opinions/she doesn’t fit their ideologies, even though she has repeatedly shown that her mind is inarguably sharper and far more on track than the mind of the 71 year old child who currently occupies the Oval Office. You guys really know how to sell your intellectual credibility. But then, SC2 can always did appreciate the comic relief.........

Okay.....so my comments were a bit of a an exaggeration (a real crime on SC2) but Denny seems to believe (ageism) she is old enough to be dead without over the top health care (which is at least as untoward as my comments might be). And for a guy who lives off the salty tears of disgruntled “snowflakes”, @rasheedfan2005 appears to be soaking the sheets over RBG. For people that defend Trump regardless, I find the comments and opinions on RBG to be ironic.....to put it kindly.

None of us hate her. We certainly don't know if she has dementia. She's always been a liberal so how would we know?

    Who "trashed" her?

I have huge respect for every one of the justices and virtually all those who were nominated but never made it.

The guy behind ObamaCare says 75 is an age where he thinks the medical industry shouldn't care for people anymore. Basically.

So she'd be dead if she were on ObamaCare and ObamaCare were fully implemented.

She has been very sick and recovered. I attribute that to over the top health care. And good for her (and the country).

Obamacare Architect Says Society Would Be Better Off If People Died At 75

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Rahm Emanuel, says that society would be far better off if people quit trying to live past age 75. His new article entitled “Why I Hope To Die At 75” has the following very creepy subtitle: “An argument that society and families—and you - will be better off if nature takes its course swiftly and promptly”. In the article, Emanuel forcefully argues that the quality of life for most people is significantly diminished past the age of 75 and that once we get to that age we should refuse any more medical care that will extend our lifespans. This is quite chilling to read, considering the fact that this is coming from one of the key architects of Obamacare. Of course he never uses the term “death panels” in his article, but that is obviously what Emanuel would want in a perfect world. To Emanuel, it is inefficient to waste medical resources on those that do not have a high “quality of life”. So he says that “75 is a pretty good age to aim to stop”.
FWIW, I went to grade school with Rahm Emmanuel.
