Why did Detroit take on the extra money of his contract if not to have him play?

Maybe he can store some booze in his locker for the team during halftime.

I read here that Prince is trying to negotiate a buyout with Detroit. I thought he was a salary dump for Detroit. Isn't he expiring contract?

I think we should sign Jason Williams to be our 3rd string PG. He can do fancy passes.

This is so obviously Nate Robinson. We need lil Nate! He's proved it in the playoffs! What are we waiting for?

I'd like it to be nate but realistically speaking, how would he get minutes here?

Simple answer: Just put him out there. He'll make things happen!

More thought out answer: Wait til the other team is resting their best backcourt option. Nate can be a defensive liability due to his size (although I personally think this is overstated) so put him in there when he only has to guard the back up and let him create havoc on offense

Can't believe none of you have mentioned Kevin Hart.

Nate could work as a guy who only plays when we have absolutely no offense coming from Dame or Wes/Afflalo.

Chemistry is important; no way the locker room wants to bring in a thug like Nate Robinson.

What makes him a thug? Also he's friends with at least 4 of the players on the blazers

Yes, why didn't I think about that. Besides...Jerome was vouching for him the other day. Ray Allen is also out there.

Steve is a nice guy, but we really need Nate for a change of pace type pg. It makes too much sense to happen though.

Yeah, Steve's shot has been getting worse for two years now. I know nates percentages this year haven't been impressive but he was coming back from an injury. He could really help us. He's a better outside shooter than blake and could potentially win you a game by himself. Blake can't do that. Plus he's close with a bunch of players on the team and is from the northwest. I say why not?

Maybe he and the 'fish' can have a lil contest on who can put down the most during intermission.

    Who you got?

Would love Kendrick Perkins even though he kinda sucks. Due for a revenge game against the THunder, would love that. big body.

Woj says he's likely going to Cavs though

Theres a reason teams don't keep little Nate. The Celtics had him on the roster years ago and preferred to cut him this year. He won't be happy as the 15th man on the Blazers roster and will complain about touches or role. He has a track record of a poor attitude for multiple teams he's been on and burned bridges. Bringing him in would be as stupid as when we signed Rod Strickland back in the day.
